SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. –
Daniel Ajuz (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) won his first PSAC Individual Championship as he led the Bloomsburg men's track & field team to a ninth-place finish with 29 team points on the final day of the 2026 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Ajuz won the triple jump with a lead of 14.96 meters, just 0.01 meters shy of the Bloomsburg school record to take first and hit an NCAA provisional mark. Ajuz is currently ranked 25
th in DII for the triple jump.
Trevor Johnson (Kintnersville, Pa./Palisades) finished 16
th for the Huskies with a jump of 13.10 meters (43' 6").
Kaleb Zimmerman (Lancaster, Pa./Garden Spot) opened the day for Bloomsburg with a 13
th-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 15.08 meters (49' 5.75").
Josh Worthington (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) earned a spot on the podium in the javelin with a throw of 58.06 meters (190' 6") to take seventh overall.
Justin Hoffman took eighth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.25 after qualifying for the finals yesterday while
Katrell Butler (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area) took seventh in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.34.
The 4x400-medley relay team of Butler, Chris Schearer,
Eli Butler (/), and
Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) took eighth overall with a time of 3:23.13.
Ajuz now awaits the selection for the 2026 NCAA Championships. Selections will be announced by the NCAA on ncaa.com on May 12 by 3:00 p.m.
