BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg men's track and field team had multiple Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifiers and personal bests on senior day at the Maroon & Gold Invite.
In the 100-meter dash,
Shane Kerosetz (Hellertown, Pa./Saucon Valley) took the gold with a 10.86 time, a personal best.
Christopher Brittingham (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) took second with a time of 10.90 which is his personal best.
Patrick Moore (Blakeslee, Pa./Commonwealth Charter Academy) also got a personal-best time in the event with a 10.93 finish.
In the 200-meters, Brittingham placed second in the event with a 22.02 time, his second personal best of the day.
Katrell Butler (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area) garners his personal best in the race with a 22.14 time.
Chris Schearer placed first in the 400-meter with a time of 50.11.
Eli Butler (/) was not far behind with a time of 50.76.
Finnegan Purtle (/) finished third in the event with a 51.38 time.
Jordan Mann (Kunkletown, Pa./Palmerton) took the 800-meter with a personal-best time of 2:01.04.
In the 110-hurdles, Justin Hermann earned a PSAC qualifying time of 15.12.
Samuel Ciampittiello (/) placed second with a time of 15.95, a personal best.
Brandon Tillery (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) took third in the event with a 15.97 time.
The 400-hurdles featured
William Burdett (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) with a first-place time of 57.02. Tillery placed 59.36 and took second place. Ciampittiello finished the event placing third at 1:00.70.
Shaheem Hill (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) won the high jump by clearing 1.89 meters (6'2.25").
Jack Colonna (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) cleared 1.83 meters (6'0").
In the long jump,
Andrew Kane (Bradford, Pa./Bradford Area) won the long jump by jumping 6.65 meters.
Trevor Johnson (Kintnersville, Pa./Palisades) placed third in the event by jumping 6.56 meters.
Johnson then took the triple jump by jumping 13.41 meters.
Trent Olive (British Virginia Islands/Elmore Stoutt) placed second in the event with a 12.93-meter jump. Landon Kessler also was featured and place third at 12.91 meters, a personal best.
Kaleb Zimmerman (Lancaster, Pa./Garden Spot) placed second in the shot put with a PSAC qualifying 14.98-meter throw.
Dylan Krugh (Bangor, Pa./Bangor Area) placed third with a 14.04-meter heave, a personal best.
The discuss featured Zimmerman who placed second with a 42.05-meter throw.
Ryan Walker (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) placed third in discuss by throwing 41.20 meters.
The hammer throw had
Michael Taylor (/) placing first with a PSAC-qualifying heave of 52.61 meters. Cameron Williams joined Taylor with a PSAC-qualifying 49.16-meter throw.Â
Michael Farronato (/) placed first in the javelin by throwing a personal best 53.13-meter heave.
Matthew Staffin (Sugarloaf, Pa./Hazleton Area) placed second with a personal best 52.93 throw.Â
The team will compete at the PSAC Championships on April 30.
