RESULTS
EAST STROUDSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team took part in the 12th annual DeSchriver Invitational at East Stroudsburg on Saturday.
Highlights for Bloomsburg include a fifth place finish for
Jessie Mustapha (Philadelphia/University City) in the 400 meters in a time of 51.66 seconds, just .26 seconds off the school record. In the 55 meter dash,
Ryan Dickerson (Harleysville/Souderton) and
Eric Thomas (Reading/Muhlenberg) tied for fourth place in 6.74 seconds with Thomas qualifying for the PSAC championships (Dickerson had previously qualified in the event).
At 500 meters
Jared Arnold (Philadelphia/Engineering & Science ) was fifth in 1:08.68, while at 1000 meters
Michael Hookham (Middlesex, NJ/Middlesex) was fourth in 2:41.82. In the mile Hookham was eighth in 4:36.59, while in the 55 meter hurdles
Aaron Hacker (Dover/Dover) was seventh in 8.26 seconds.
In relay action the 4 x 200 team of
Cal Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley),
Devin Barr (Pottstown/Pottsgrove),
Ryan Dickerson (Harleysville/Souderton) and
Tywan Faust (Chester/Glen Mills) was third in 1:33.15, while in the 4 x 400 the Huskies were fifth in 3:29.23 with the team of
John Barnett (Chester Springs/Downingtown East), Barr, Arnold and Mustapha.
