LEWISBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team competed at the Bucknell Team Challenge on Saturday with two Huskies earning spots at the PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) championships.
Posting qualifying marks in the 400 meters was
Cal Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley) in 50.66 seconds with
Stephen Grib (Vernon, NJ/Vernon) running the 110 hurdles in 15.88 seconds.
In addition four others had personal best marks on Saturday. At 1500 meters
Scott Trama (Exton/Downingtown East ) ran a 4:13.96, while
Jared Arnold (Philadelphia/Engineering & Science ) ran a 51.46 in the 400 with
Bryan Hennessey (Lower Gwynedd/Pennridge) running at 51.63 at 400 meters.
In the long jump
Earvin Paul (Spring Valley, NY/Paramus Catholic) had a mark of 6.35 meters (20'9.75”) in the long jump. At the East Stroudsburg University All-American Invitational,
John Dominski (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) had a PR throw of 36.25 meters (118'11”) in the hammer.
Bloomsburg will be back in action next Saturday hosting the Maroon and Gold Invitational.
