COMPLETE RESULTS
MILLERSVILLE—The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team took part in the Millersville Metrics on Saturday and had five PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) championship qualifying performances.
In the 400 meter dash
Jessie Mustapha (Philadelphia/University City) ran 49.61 seconds, while
Devin Barr (Pottstown/Pottsgrove) was right behind in 50.70 seconds, both PSAC qualifying marks.
At 800 meters
Jared Arnold (Philadelphia/Engineering & Science ) was 11th overall in a PSAC-qualifying time of 1:57.89, while in the Steeplechase Dave Moyer qualified for the PSAC championships with a time of 9:48.08.
In the discus
Jack Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley) earned a spot in the PSAC championships with a throw of 42.47 meters.
On Saturday day one of the men's decathlon was held.
Stephen Grib (Vernon, NJ/Vernon) finished day one with 2923 points. He ran the 100 meters in 12.10 seconds; had a long jump of 6.15 meter (20'2.25"); threw the shot put 8.94 meters (29'4"); had a high jump of 1.78 meters (5'10") and ran 53.97 for 400 meters.
Matt Stuck (Milton/Milton) scored 2653 points on day one of the decathlon. He ran the 100 meters in 12.52 seconds; had a long jump of 5.59 meters (18'4"); threw the shot put 9.13 meters (29'11.5"); had a high jump of 1.75 meters (5' 8.75") and ran the 400 meters in 55.42 seconds.
Day two of the decathlon will be held on Sunday.
Bloomsburg hosts the Husky Open on Friday and Saturday at Redman Stadium.
