MEET RESULTS
BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team took part in the Maroon and Gold Invitational on Saturday at Redman Stadium.
Zach Eyer (Berwick/Berwick Area) qualified for the PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) championships in the 800 meters with a run of 1:56.89. In addition several other Huskies improved their PSAC qualifying marks. In the 200 meters Devon Barr ran a 21.91 and
Jessie Mustapha (Philadelphia/University City) a 22.22. At 800 meters,
Jared Arnold (Philadelphia/Engineering & Science ) improved his qualifying time with a mark of 1:56.42,while the 4 x 100 relay team of
Tywan Faust (Chester/Glen Mills), Barr,
Cal Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley) and
Jessie Mustapha (Philadelphia/University City) 43.07 seconds.
In field events
Jack Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley) threw the shot 14.56 meters (47'9.25”) and the discus 42.54 meters (139'7”) to improve his seeding.
Several other members of the team also turned in personal best marks at the meet. In the 200 meters
Cal Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley) ran a 23.15, while at 800 meters
Colin Clark (Shohola/Delaware Valley) ran 2:05.66. At 3000 meters Dave Moyer (9:00.87),
Nick Patton (Canton/Canton) (9:01.65) and
Brent Balmer (Lebanon/Cedar Crest) (9:18.42) all ran career bests.
In the hammer
Cory Palek (Shenandoah/Shenandoah Valley) (41.97 m, 137'8”),
John Dominski (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) (36.75m, 120'7”),
Carl Frauenpreis (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) (35.40 m,116'2”), and
Jack Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley) (34.36 m, 112'9”) all had personal bests, while in the discus Frauenpreis (38.46 m, 126'2”) and Stuck (30.79 m, 101'0”) had PR's.
