BETHLEHEM—The Bloomsburg University men's indoor track team took part in the Mountain Hawk Invite on Friday and Saturday at Lehigh University.
In the men's heptathlon
Stephen Grib (Vernon, NJ/Vernon) was fifth overall finishing with 4472 points, mark that is second best in the PSAC and just 19 points shy of the school record. On Friday in the 60 meter dash Grib ran a 7.65, while in the long jump he had a mark of 6.44 meters (21' 1 ½”). In the shot put he has a throw of 9.74 meters (31' 11 ½”), while in the high jump he had a mark of 1.79 meters (5” 10 ½”). On Saturday, Grib was fifth in the 60 meter hurdles in 9.07 seconds; took first in the pole vault with a mark of 4.10 meters (13' 5 ¼”); and was fifth in the 1000 meter run in 2:58.69.
In the 200-meter dash,
Devin Barr (Pottstown/Pottsgrove) was fourth in 23.03, while
Tywan Faust (Chester/Glen Mills) was ninth in 23.68. In the 400-meter dash
Cal Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley) was fourth in a PSAC-qualifying time of 51.72 with Jessie Mustaoha took fifth in 51.78 seconds. At 500-meters
Zach Eyer (Berwick/Berwick Area) was fifth in 1:09.93, while
Bryan Hennessey (Lower Gwynedd/Pennridge) was ninth in 1:10.47.
At one mile,
Nick Libbi (West Chester/West Chester East) was fourth in 4:28.14, while at 800 meters
Kyle Phillips (Waynesboro/Waynesboro) finished in 2:08.14.
Earvin Paul (Spring Valley, NY/Paramus Catholic) had two top-five finishes on the day. In the high jump Paul posted a mark of 1.95 meters (6'4 ¾”) that is second best in the PSAC and was fifth in long jump in a PSAC-qualifying time of 6.63 meters (21' 9”). In the pole vault
Matt Stuck (Milton/Milton) was ninth in 4.30 meters (14” 1 ¼”), while in the shot put
Jack Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley) had a PSAC-qualifying throw of 13.77m (45' 2 1/4").
