MEET RESULTS
CLARION—The Bloomsburg University women's swim lost to Clarion University, 192.5 to 107.50 on Saturday afternoon.
Senior distance swimmer
Bridget Hilferty (Royersford/Perkiomen Valley) continued her strong season in the distance events winning both the 1650- and 500-free events. In the 1650 she turned in a mark of 17:58.64, while in the 500 she won with a time of 5:17.03.
Also having a big day in the pool was
Kaci McIlmoyle (Landenberg/Avon Grove) who was back competing for the first time in three weeks after suffering an injury. McIlmoyle was second in 400-IM in 4:46.86; third in 200-back in 2:14.46 and third in the 200-fly in 2:16.60.
In the 100-fly
Kelsey Brooker (Stevens/Cocalico) tied for first with a mark of 1:01.22, while
Ashley Dix (Schwenksville/Perkiomen Valley) was second in the 50-free in 25.62 seconds and third in the 100-free in 55.63 seconds.
Posting PSAC-qualifying times on the day were Hilferty in the 1650-free (17:58.64);
Ashley Dix (Schwenksville/Perkiomen Valley) in the 200-free (2:01.00) and McIlmoyle in the 200-fly (2:16.60) and the 400-IM (4:46.86)
The Huskies host Dickinson College on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m.
