LEWISBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team competed on Saturday at the Winter Classic at Bucknell University.
Posting an NCAA provisional mark at 200 meters was
Devin Barr (Pottstown/Pottsgrove), who ran 22.11. The mark equaled his school record set one week ago. The mark also ties him for 14
th on the national list.
The Huskies also had two new PSAC qualifiers. At 60 meters
Tywan Faust (Chester/Glen Mills) ran a time of 7.19 seconds, while at 200 meters
Cal Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley) qualified for the PSAC championships with a time of 23.30 seconds.
Other highlights for the Huskies were a second place finish for the 4 x 400 relay team, which ran a time of 3:21.29 with the team of Barr,
Marvin Carter (Bordentown, NJ/Bordentown Regional), Jesse Mustapha and
Cal Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley).
In the mile
Nick Libbi (West Chester/West Chester East) (West Chester, West Chester East) was third in 4:22.60, while in the 60-meter hurdles
Matt Ishman (Milton/Milton Area) was fourth in 8.57 seconds.
The Huskies compete in the SU Open next Friday.
