COMPLETE RESULTS
SELINSGROVE—The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team qualified nine for the PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) Championships at the Jim Taylor Invitational at Susquehanna University on Saturday.
Qualifying in the 100-dash were
Devin Barr (Pottstown/Pottsgrove) and
Shawn Geiser (Wellsboro/Wellsboro ). Barr finished third in 11.29 seconds, while Geiser was fourth in 11:30. At 200-meters Barr qualified for PSACs and won the event with a time of 22.09, while
Jessie Mustapha (Philadelphia/University City) was third in a qualifying time of 22.56.
At 400-meters Mustapha and
Marvin Carter (Bordentown, NJ/Bordentown Regional) both earned PSAC-qualifying marks with Mustapha third in 49.33 and Carter fourth in 49.76. In the 800-meter race
Zach Eyer (Berwick/Berwick Area) qualified for PSAC's and was fourth in 1:58.00.
In the 1500-meter race
Nick Libbi (West Chester/West Chester East) was eighth in 4:04.75 (just missing PSAC's by 0.75 seconds), while
Kyle Phillips (Waynesboro/Waynesboro) was 10th in 4:06.95. in the 110-hurdles
Matt Ishman (Milton/Milton Area) was second in 16.00 seconds.
In the field events
Cory Palek (Shenandoah/Shenandoah Valley) was fourth in the Hammer in 42.38 meters/139', while in the pole vault
Matt Stuck (Milton/Milton) was first in 4.45 meters/14' 7 1/2”.
The Huskies are back in action on Friday at the Millersville Metrics.
