COMPLETE RESULTS
LEWISBURG—Three new PSAC qualifying times and a school-record highlighted the day's action for the Bloomsburg University men's track and field team at the Bucknell Team Challenge at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
Posting new PSAC qualifying times were
Stephen Grib (Vernon, NJ/Vernon) in the 110 high hurdles in a time of 15.87 seconds, while at 800 meters
Quichon Walker (Lancaster/J.P. McCaskey) posted a time of 1:56.18, while at 1500
Kyle Phillips (Waynesboro/Waynesboro) earned a spot at PSAC's in 4:02.39.
Setting a new school record in the 4 x 800 was the team of
Zach Eyer (Berwick/Berwick Area),
Bryan Hennessey (Lower Gwynedd/Pennridge),
Nick Libbi (West Chester/West Chester East) and Phillips with a time of 8:01.07.
Along with those marks several Huskies also turned in season and personal bests.
Jessie Mustapha (Philadelphia/University City) posted a PR in the 400 in 48.94 and the 200 in 22.40. Also in the 200
Tywan Faust (Chester/Glen Mills) had a PR of 22.73, while
Shawn Geiser (Wellsboro/Wellsboro ) had a PR in the 200 with a mark of 22.96 seconds.
In the 400 hurdles
Cal Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley) had a PR of 57.11 seconds, while in the 800
Colin Clark (Shohola/Delaware Valley) had a PR of 2:01.86. In the discus,
Carl Frauenpreis (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) had a PR in the discus in 39.72 meters (130' 4").
The Huskies will compete at the Maroon and Gold Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 27-28.
