MEET RESULTS
BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team qualified three more for next week's PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) Championships on Friday during the Maroon and Gold Invitational.
Before the meet the Huskies honored the senior members of its team, Corey Palek,
Marvin Carter (Bordentown, NJ/Bordentown Regional),
Bryan Hennessey (Lower Gwynedd/Pennridge) and
Colin Clark (Shohola/Delaware Valley).
Earning a spot in the upcoming PSAC championships, to be hosted by Bloomsburg, were
Matt Ishman (Milton/Milton Area) in the 110-hurdles who posted a time of 15.64 seconds;
Dominic Mannello (Northumberland/Shikellamy) in the pole vault with a mark of 4.15 meters (13'7 ¼”); and
Patrick Lehman (Hanover/Spring Grove) in the discus with a throw of 43.30 meters (142' 1”).
Also in the javelin,
Justin Shirk (Harrisburg/Central Dauphin) bettered his NCAA national qualifying mark with a throw of 65.83 meters (216').
In addition,
Kyle Phillips (Waynesboro/Waynesboro) won the 1500 meter race in 4:09.81, while Jeremy Irving captured the 200-meter dash in 22.60 seconds.
Bloomsburg will host the PSAC Championships May 3-5 at Redman Stadium.
