TOTAL MEET RESULTS

AKRON, OH—The Bloomsburg University women's swim team finished sixth overall at the 2013 Zippy Invitational finishing with 792 points. On Sunday the Huskies posted four NCAA "B" cut times and had eight new PSAC qualifying times.
 
The Sunday finals began with the 1650-free and the Huskies posting two "B" cut times. Freshman Brooke Gilson (Whitehall/Whitehall) continued her big weekend with a third place finish in a time of 17:13.37 to easily go under the qualifying time of 17:39.40. In addition junior Alison Bradway (Tabernacle, NJ/Seneca) swam 17:38.40 to also go under the mark and post an NCAA "B" cut time.
 
In the 200-back prelims Alex Wheatley (Dresher/Upper Dublin) and Jackie Rose each posted new PSAC qualifying marks. Wheatley swam 2:06.13 and Rose 2:13.96. In the finals Wheatley finished seventh, Kaci McIlmoyle (Landenberg/Avon Grove) 14th (2:08.10) and Rose 22nd with Rose going under her prelim time (2:13.22).
 
Meghan Gallagher (Aston/Sun Valley) posted an NCAA "B" cut time in the 100-free in the prelims with a swim of 52.46, while Jenna Yohey (Berwick/Berwick) posted a new PSAC qualifying time at 54.82. In Sunday's finals Gallagher finished eighth in 52.60, while Ashley Dix (Schwenksville/Perkiomen Valley) was 11th in 52.74.
 
In the 200-breast the Huskies had four new PSAC qualifiers with Jess McGarry (Philadelphia/St. Hubert), Morgan Johnston (Shippensburg/Shippensburg), Emilee Carr (Coopersburg/Southern Lehigh) and Chelsea Wysong (Flourtown/Springfield). In the finals Nicole Young (Trooper/Methacton) finished 11th in 2:24.18.
 
In the 200-fly Rachel Brooker (Stevens/Cocalico ) posted the ninth best time in the prelims with a swim of 2:07.55, then posted an NCAA "B" cut time of 2:05.17 in the finals to finish ninth overall. In the prelims Erin Cannaday (Medford, NJ/Bishop Eustace) (2:10.18) and Colleen Finas (2:13.09) were new PSAC qualifiers in the event for Bloomsburg.
 
In the final night of the evening the Huskies were eighth in the 400-free relay finishing in 3:33.72 with the team of McIlmoyle, Yohey, Dix and Gallagher.
