Online Coverage - Live Stats STORYLINEThe Huskies looks to get back on the winning track when they host Mansfield for another PSAC contest on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 12 p.m. Saturday's match will be for position in the PSAC standings as the Mountaineers enter the contest one game ahead of Bloomsburg.
LAST MEETINGBloomsburg scored a 2-1 win over the Mountaineers last season. The game was scoreless for the first 22 minutes before the Huskies finally broke through with a goal.
Nikki Gattone fed a short pass in front of the goal to
Felicia Domenici who poked it past the Mansfield goalie for a 1-0 lead. It stayed 1-0 until the 38th minute when
Angie DeBellis (Zionsville/Emmaus) deflected a shot attempt from
Candice Smith to make it 2-0. Bloomsburg goalie
Megan Eppley stopped four shots in goal to earn the victory.
SCOUTING MANSFIELDMillersville defeated Mansfield this past Saturday, 6-0.
Laura Lawson made 25 saves in the game for Mansfield.
Kayla Grunza,
Jessi Swingle and
Nikita Grove each recorded defensive saves to prevent Millersville goals. Freshman
Chelsea Tanco leads the team in goals with three while
Lacey Croasdale has two goals.
Laura Lawson leads the conference in saves per game at 13.71.

ALL-TIME SERIESBloomsburg leads the all-time series with Mansfield, 41-2.
LAST TIME OUTThe Huskies fell to Shippensburg University this past Saturday, 3-0. The teams were scoreless until the 16th minute when Kendall Black took a shot that Tori Ricker deflected into the goal putting the Raiders up 1-0. Shippensburg added to its lead at 24:14 on an unassisted goal from Emily Barnard who tipped in a ball that came from outside the circle. Bloomsburg had a good look at the goal late in the first half but a shot by
Meagen Hill went wide left keeping it a 2-0 game at the break. The Raiders added to their lead in 53rd minute of play when Barnard scored her second goal of the day off an assist from Lucy Kauffman. Bloomsburg finished with nine shots on goal to seven for the Raiders.

THE CAGE IS HER CASSELSophomore goalie
Lindsay Cassel has been solid in the cage so far for BU. In the five games she has started, she has allowed only seven goals and made 23 saves.
