SCOUTING CLARION
The Golden Eagles are 2-0 at home this year with wins over Carlow (77-69) and California (80-73). The Cal win is the Golden Eagles' lone PSAC triumph thus far as they suffered setbacks vs. Pitt-Johnstown (82-77) and Gannon (68-54) earlier in the year.

Clarion ranks 10th in the PSAC in scoring at 74.2 ppg and 12th in scoring defense, allowing 72.8 ppg. Darius Stevens gives the Golden Eagles their best scoring threat, ranking 12th in the PSAC in scoring at 14.7 ppg, and is also strong on the boards, ranking eighth in the conference in rebounding with 7.7 per game.

Opponents shoot the ball well against Clarion as the Golden Eagles have allowed opposition to shoot 48.5 percent from the floor - only Seton Hill allows a better average (49.1%). Clarion does shine in turnover margin, ranking second in the PSAC at +4.8.

THE BLOOMSBURG-CLARION SERIES
Bloomsburg leads 15-12

Bloomsburg has won three straight games in the series, holding off Clarion 61-53 last year after winning a pair of nailbiters the previous two years - an 87-85 road victory in 2011-12 and a 66-64 home win on Jan. 12, 2013.

SCOUTING PITT-JOHNSTOWN
Pitt-Johnstown is 2-2 in the PSAC this year, defeating Clarion (82-77) and Seton Hill (83-61) but losing to Slippery Rock (79-71) and California (74-65) in Western Division play. UPJ ranks fifth in the conference in scoring at 80.1 ppg and sixth in defense, allowing only 67.1 ppg. The Mountain Cats do much of their damage beyond the arc, shooting 39.4 percent on 3-pointers and making 7.4 treys per game.

A.J. Leahey is the prime outside threat, shooting over 47 percent from 3's and connecting on nearly three per game to rank among the conference leaders. Picked to finish fifth in the PSAC West, the Mountain Cats returned only two starters from last year - preseason All-PSAC West pick Ian Vescovi and junior point guard Nate Snodgrass.

THE BLOOMSBURG-UPJ SERIES
UPJ leads 20-10

The two teams have met every season since 1999. Bloomsburg won in 2011 at Johnstown, 74-72, but UPJ won by a bucket at home, 70-68 (2010), in the last two meetings in Johnstown.
