SCOUTING EAST STROUDSBURG
The Warriors started the season ranked in the national top five, but have suffered two early losses at Bowie State on Nov. 15 (76-71) and at home vs. New Haven (79-71) on Nov. 30. ESU lost just two games all of last season after opening the year on a 20-game winning streak before finishing the year 30-2 with a PSAC Championship and a spot in the Atlantic Regional Championship Game before falling at home to West Liberty, 89-82. That loss to West Liberty was the only loss of the season for ESU at Koehler Fieldhouse as the Warriors went 18-1 on their home floor. The Warriors have been the dominant team in the East in recent seasons, winning three divisional regular season titles in the past five years.

ESU returned 11 letterwinners and four starters from last year's conference champions, including guard Whis Grant (17.6 pts, 3.8 reb) - a two-time All-America pick and 2014 Sporting News Pre-season All-American. Also back is 2013-14 PSAC East Freshman of the Year Rasheed Moore (12.6 pts, 6.3 reb); PSAC Tournament MVP Jamar Nwaniemeka (12.6 pts, 3.1 reb), First Team All-PSAC East selection Matt Tobin (9.3 pts, 3.0 reb, 6.4 apg) as well as guard Will Brown (9.1 pts, 2.2 reb).

THE BLOOMSBURG-ESU SERIES
Bloomsburg leads 92-67

Saturday will mark the 160th meeting between Bloomsburg and East Stroudsburg in the sport of men's basketball. The Warriors have won four straight in the series after sweeping the season series in each of the past two years. Bloomsburg's last victory over ESU came at home on Feb. 22, 2012 - 80-78 in overtime. Bloomsburg swept the season series from the Warriors in 2011-12, with its last win at Koehler Fieldhouse coming on Jan. 25, 2012 - 70-67. Bloomsburg is a very different team than it was then - not a single player from the Huskies' last win over ESU is still on the roster.
