Box Score LOCK HAVEN—The No. 15 Bloomsburg University women's lacrosse team lost a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) game to No. 8 Lock Haven Tuesday afternoon, 10-5 at Charlotte Smith Field. Prior to the game the teams posed for a picture celebrating LAX 4 LIFE.
The Lady Eagles (6-2 overall, 3-1 PSAC) jumped out to a 1-0 lead four minutes into the game, but the Huskies (6-3, 4-1) answered back with a three goal run to give Bloomsburg a 3-1 advantage at halftime.
Marisa Moley (Phoenixville/Spring-Ford) assisted
Aubrey Bossert (Ambler/Wissahickon) to put the Huskies on the board at the 20 minute mark. Five minutes later
Brigid Kyne (Newtown Square/Marple Newtown) found the back of the net to take a 2-1 Bloomsburg lead. Just over one minute later
Julie Falk (Millersville/Penn Manor) scored the last of the half to bring the score to 3-1 in favor of the Huskies.
To start off the second half the teams traded goals. Kyne registered her second of the game off a pass from Moley making the score 4-2. Then Lock Haven went on a 4 goal streak to take a 6-4 lead with 14 minutes to go.
At the 10 minute mark
Aubrey Bossert (Ambler/Wissahickon) was assisted by Kyne to bring the Huskies within one, 6-5. The Lady Eagles scored four more goals to win the game, 10-5, three of those goals were uncontested, empty net goals.

Kate Shea (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Regional) had a team-high five groundballs and a caused turnover. Bloomsburg outshot Lock Haven 20-19 and won 12 draw controls to the Lady Eagles five.
On the season Falk leads Bloomsburg's offense with 25 goals and has 13 assists. She also leads the team in draw controls with 35. Moley leads the team in assists with 18 and adds 17 goals.
The Huskies travel to Slippery Rock on Saturday, Arp. 5 for a 1 p.m. game where the two teams will be honoring the Wounded Warrior Project.
