PITtSBURGH--The Bloomsburg University wrestling team dropped a pair of matches on Sunday at the Pitt Duals falling to Drexel, 27-6, and North Carolina State, 42-0.

In the match with Drexel the Huskies got wins from Kurt Meske (Bloomsburg/Central Columbia) at 165 pounds and Michael Mirra (Mountaintop/Crestwood) at 197. Bloomsburg also dropped two close bouts with Bradley Miccio (Benton, Pa./Benton Area) and Dominic Carfagno (West Paterson, NJ/St. Joseph Regional) each losing by two points.

Against the Wolfpack Andy Schutz (Exeter, Pa./Wyoming Area) lost by three points (11-8) at 133, while Mirra dropped his bout 5-3.

Bloomsburg, 0-5, will be idle Jan. 25 when it hosts Edinboro starting at 2 p.m.
