BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – As the Bloomsburg wrestling team prepares to open its 2026-27 season this weekend in Wisconsin, head coach
John Stutzman and the Huskies are inviting fans to join them for the inaugural Mat Talk with Stutzman on Thursday, 6:00 p.m., November 5, on the second floor at Turkey Hill Brewing Company, sponsored by the Husky Elite Wrestling Club.
Sponsored by the Husky Elite Wrestling Club, Mat Talk with Stutzman will provide fans, alumni and supporters an opportunity to connect with the Huskies throughout the wrestling season, hear directly from Coach Stutzman and get an inside look at the program.
The first event will follow Bloomsburg's season-opening match at Wisconsin on November 1, and serve as a preview of the Huskies' upcoming matchup at Penn State, along with a look ahead at the 2026-27 campaign. Additional Mat Talk with Stutzman dates will be announced later in the season.
The event is open to the public, with light appetizers provided by the Husky Elite Wrestling Club beginning at 6:00 p.m., while supplies last. A short program will follow, featuring remarks from Coach Stutzman, a preview of upcoming competition and introductions of members of the Huskies' coaching staff and wrestling roster.

Fans attending Mat Talk with Stutzman are encouraged to remain at Turkey Hill Brewing Company following the program to enjoy dinner and drinks on their own, and watch the live band at 7:00 p.m., all while connecting with fellow Bloomsburg wrestling supporters.Â
About Turkey Hill Brewing Company
Founded by innkeeper and proprietor Andrew Pruden, Turkey Hill Brewing Company was established as an extension of The Inn at Turkey Hill. Housed in a reconstructed historic 1839 bank barn, the brewery has become a popular regional destination, offering handcrafted beers, casual dining and live entertainment in a welcoming atmosphere.
Earlier this academic year, Turkey Hill Brewing Company and Bloomsburg Athletics introduced Husky Lager, a custom craft beer celebrating Bloomsburg Athletics and the Husky community. The beer is available on tap and in cans for retail purchase at Turkey Hill Brewing Company.
The collaboration represents a pilot partnership designed to strengthen community engagement, celebrate Bloomsburg Athletics traditions and create additional opportunities for Huskies fans and alumni to connect.
