Full ResultsEAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University women's swimming team scored a road win at East Stroudsburg on Sunday afternoon, 151-103, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference competition.

Caroline Hodgins (Schwenksville, PA) was a multi-winner in solo action, scoring victories in the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle. In the 200, she touched first in 1:57.29 and in the 500 her time of 5:14.86 was good enough to win by 12 seconds. Both times were well above the PSAC qualifying standards.
Kate Cossitor (Morgantown, PA/Twin Valley) was second in the 200 free at 2:03.00 while the 500 free was a 1-2-3 finish for the Huskies with
Lauren Minford (Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) second at 5:26.40 with a PSAC standard and
Kristina Halner (Chalfont/Archbishop Wood) third at 5:45.46.

Brooke Gilson (Whitehall/Whitehall) was the winner in the 1000 free at 10:55.95 and
Megan Carey (Waymart, PA/Holy Cross) won the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.56.

The wins kept coming for the Huskies (7-0).

Kaci McIlmoyle (Landenberg/Avon Grove) won the 200 butterfly at 2:18.04, just beating teammate
Erin Cannaday (Medford, NJ/Bishop Eustace) who was second at 2:20.06, each under the conference standards.

Meghan Gallagher (Aston/Sun Valley) gave the Huskies another win in the 50 free with her time of 25.26, also better than the PSAC standard.

Ashley Dix (Schwenksville/Perkiomen Valley) was a winner in the 100 free with her time of 55.55 in a tight race, defeating ESU's Karli Vavra who touched at 55.60.

Bloomsburg swept the podium in the 200 backstroke –
Alex Wheatley (Dresher/Upper Dublin) won at 2:11.74 while
Rachel Brooker (Stevens/Cocalico ) was second at 2:12.16 and McIlmoyle third at 2:14.33, all over three seconds under the PSAC qualifying mark.

In the 200 breaststroke, it was Nikki Young tallying the win with her time of 2:27.29, over nine seconds better than the PSAC mark.

The Huskies 200 yard medley relay team of Wheatley, Young, Brooker and Gallagher also was victorious at 1:50.24.
