STORYLINEThe Huskies begin their three-game road trip against IUP, looking to rebound after a 1-0 loss to Millersville last Saturday. The Crimson Hawks are in the midst of a five-game season-ending homestand and are coming off of a 3-2 loss to East Stroudsburg.

LAST TIME OUTThe Bloomsburg field hockey team fell 1-0 to #1 Millersville on Saturday.
Lindsay Cassel (Hummelstown/Lower Dauphin) made 11 saves in goal for the Huskies, the fifth time this season she has made double-digit saves.

IUP lost 3-2 to East Stroudsburg as Ally Roth scored all three goals for the Warriors. Haley Klinger and Matti Reightler each had a goal for the Crimson Hawks while Olivia Accardi made four saves in the cage.

LAST YEARThe Huskies defeated IUP twice in 2014, by scores of 4-1 and 2-0. In the first meeting Bloomsburg upset then-number nine ranked IUP 4-1 on the road thanks to goals from
Meagen Hill (Gettysburg/Gettysburg),
Whitney Kowski (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Regional),
Peyton Shockley (Milford, DE/Milford) and
Candice Smith (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove). In the cage, Cassel made six saves to help the Huskies score the upset. In the Huskies' second-to-last game of the year, IUP came to Steph Pettit Stadium and were shut out 2-0. Hill scored first in the 6
th minute, and
Felicia Domenici (Kunkletown/Pleasant Valley) added an insurance goal in the final minute of the game. Cassel recorded two saves in the contest.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURGSam Peters (Harrisburg/Mifflin County) leads the Huskies in goals with six and points with 13 on the season. Following closely behind Peters is
Whitney Kowski (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Regional) who has five goals and 10 points for Bloomsburg. Overall, 14 different players have scored at least one goal for the Huskies this season. In the cage,
Lindsay Cassel (Hummelstown/Lower Dauphin) has played every minute of every game while making 116 saves, good for second in the PSAC. Bloomsburg as a team is tops in the conference with 167 penalty corners.

SCOUTING IUPThe Crimson Hawks are led by Matti Reightler who has five goals and 10 points on the season. Haley Klinger is second on the team with four goals and nine points while McKenzie Noll is tied for fourth in the PSAC with six assists. In the cage, Olivia Accardi has started all but three games and has 31 saves. IUP has been a second half team this year scoring 18 of their 26 goals after halftime or later.
