RESULTS

BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's swim team geared up for its mid-season taper meet by beating Edinboro University, 114-85, on Saturday afternoon at the Nelson Field House pool.
 
The meet for the men started with the second-fastest time in school history in the 200-medley relay with the team of Ryan Paisley (Hazleton/Hazleton Area), Jake Harner (Philadelphia/Father Judge), Eric Usbeck (Lake Ariel/Wallenpaupack Area) and Kyle Dix (Schwenksville/Perkiomen Valley) posting a time of 1:32.86.
 
Individually, Josh Grzech (Mountain Top/Crestwood) won the 200-free in a season-best time of 1:46.96 with Sam Feiser (Pottstown/OJ Roberts) third in 1:47.60. In the 50-free the Huskies swept the top three positions with Dix and Paisley tying for first in 21.30 with A.J. Brady (Wilmington, DE/Delaware Military Academy) third in 22.11.
 
In the 200-IM Harner won with a season-best time of 1:54.25, while in the 400-IM Frank Eichhorn (Reading/Exeter Township) posted a season-best mark of 4:23.18 to lead BU sweep of the event with Paul Rocchi (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan) second and Henry Mackensen (Furlong/Central Bucks).
 
The Huskies swept the 100-fly with Feiser winning in 51.70 with Usbeck second and Grzech third.
 
In the 100-back Paisley posted a season-best time of 52.73, while in the 100-breast Ryan Sullivan (Lebanon/Cedar Crest) posted a season-best time of 59.01.
 
The Huskies will be idle until they head to Ohio from Dec. 4-6 for their big taper meet at Akron University.
