GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four members of the Bloomsburg men's swimming team were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District ® honorees on Tuesday. The four Bloomsburg selections include senior
Sean Witmer (Millmont, Pa./Mifflinburg) and juniors
Jack Drake (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg Area),
Tyler Tinsley (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) and
Cole Verga (Lawrenceville, N.J./Lawrence).
It is the third honor for Witmer and the second for Drake. Verga and Tinsley earn the distinction for the first time in their careers.
Jack Drake (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg Area) is a history major with a 3.81 GPA after a stellar junior year campaign. The Phillipsburg, N.J. native collected three gold medals, a silver and a bronze at the PSAC Championships in February. Drake claimed the individual title in the 100 freestyle while serving as a member of the Huskies' victorious 200-freestyle and 400-freestyle relay teams. The junior also set a school record in the 200-butterfly at the conference meet with a time of 1:48.85.
Sean Witmer (Millmont, Pa./Mifflinburg) is a nursing major with a 3.78 GPA who claims his third Academic All-District nod. Witmer posted a 13th place finish in the 100 breaststroke at the PSAC Championships with a time of 57.40. He also placed 17th in the 200 breaststroke with a 2:09.25.
Cole Verga (Lawrenceville, N.J./Lawrence) is an accounting major with a 3.78 GPA at Bloomsburg. Verga posted several career-bests during the 2025-26 season. At the Franklin & Marshall Invitational, the junior recorded career-bests in the 100-butterfly, the 100-backstroke and the 50 freestyle.
Tyler Tinsley (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) is management major who holds a 3.75 GPA through his time at Bloomsburg. The junior posted a standout performance at a Franklin & Marshall Invitational, recording personal bests in the 100-butterfly, 100-freestyle and 50 freestyle.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 28 (women) and April 29 (men).
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
