EDINBORO—The Bloomsburg University wrestling team fell to Edinboro University on Thursday night, 37-12, in an Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) matchup.

The Huskies picked up two wins by fall on the night. Bloomsburg got on the board when
Andy Schutz (Exeter, Pa./Wyoming Area), at 133, pinned the Fighting Scots' Tony Recco in 1:18. Schutz got a takedown 45 seconds into the match, then, got Recco on his back for the fall. For Schutz it was his team-best fourth win by fall on the year.

Then later at 157 pounds
Brendon Colbert (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) pinned Spencer Lugo in 5:58 to pull the Huskies within 17-12 at that pointnof the night.
At 174 the Huskies
Kyle Wojtaszek (Brick, NJ/Brick Township) dropped a close 10-9 match. Wojtaszek led 3-2 after one period and extended the margin to 7-3 after two periods. Edinboro's Patrick Jennnings then came back and got the win with a move late in the match.

Bloomsburg, 0-6, 0-2 in the EWL, will go up the road to Erie on Saturday and take part in the PSAC Championship tournament at Mercyhurst starting at 10 am.
