Bloomsburg Drops match to #23 Bucknell

BLOOMSBURG--The Bloomsburg University wrestling team lost to 23rd-ranked Bucknell University, 36-9, on Sunday afternoon at the Nelson Field House.

The Huskies picked up two wins on the day. The first came from Kevin Laubach (Berwick, Pa./Berwick Area) who beat Victor Lopez who came in with a record of 19-8. Laubach stood Lopez up on his head and was able to drive the shoulders to the mat to earn the win by fall in 2:31. Bloomsburg's second win of the day came from freshman Auston Hummel (Frackville, Pa./North Schuylkill) who dominatyed his opponent to win 8-1.

Bloomsburg falls to 0-8 on the year with the loss and will be back in action on Feb. 8 hosting George Mason University at 2 p.m. Bucknell improves to 12-3 on the year with the win.
