Huskies Drop Match to George Mason on Sunday

BLOOMSBURG--The Bloomsburg University wrestling team lost to George Mason University on Sunday by a score of 30-12 at the Nelson Field House in an EWL matchup.

The Huskies picked up two wins by decision on the day. Kevin Laubach (Berwick, Pa./Berwick Area) got Bloomsburg on the board with a 5-1 win at 149 pounds. Later Michel Mirra posted a 6-0 win at 197 pounds, while the Huskies other win came by forfeit with Jon Haas (Penfield, NY/Penfield) at 125 getting credit for the win.

Bloomsburg falls to 0-9, 0-4 in the EWL, while George Mason evens its record at 9-9, 3-3 in the EWL. The Huskies are back in action on Feb. 14 visiting Cleveland State at 1 p.m.
