STORYLINE

After winning three straight games, the No. 20-ranked Huskies look to build on their 3-2 record with back-to-back games Friday and Saturday at Gannon and home vs. Kutztown. Senior attacker Julie Falk (Millersville/Penn Manor) has tallied 10 goals in the last three games and Brigid Kyne (Newtown Square/Marple Newtown) has contributed six. Carly Ball (Lansdale/North Penn) had a standout performance as she put in three goals against Shippensburg. Goalkeeper Brittney Hegarty has protected well as she has tallied 35 saves this season.

SCOUTING GANNON
The Golden Knights (3-3) are coming off a loss to No.18 Seton Hill University after winning two straight games and scoring 18 points. The high powered offense is led by five student athletes who have all accumulated double-digit goals. Leilani King is leading the Golden Knights offense with 15 goals on the season. Followed closely by Kierstyn Haight (13), Ashley Mozingo (12), Tessa Mitchell (11) and Ileyana Little (10). Little also leads the team in assists, recording 14 six games into the season.

SCOUTING KUTZTOWN
The Golden Bears (1-4) are looking to make a turnaround after losing four consecutive games. Despite KU's slow start, Sarah Gabriele and Taylor Sandin have been productive on offense as they total for 21 goals on the season.

LAST YEAR'S ACTION (Gannon)
Bloomsburg will try and defeat Gannon for the second consecutive season. In 2014, the Huskies held on after an 11-4 early lead, beating the Golden Knights, 16-12. Marisa Moley (Phoenixville/Spring-Ford) had seven goals in this matchup, while Julie Falk (Millersville/Penn Manor) and Brigid Kyne (Newtown Square/Marple Newtown) contributed another three apiece.

LAST YEAR'S ACTION (Kutztown)
Bloomsburg topped Kutztown last year, 13-5, following a strong performance by Brigid Kyne (Newtown Square/Marple Newtown) who led the Huskies with three goals. Marisa Moley (Phoenixville/Spring-Ford), Carly Ball (Lansdale/North Penn) and Julie Falk (Millersville/Penn Manor) contributed a combined five goals last season. The Golden Bears were led by senior attacker Jillian Spencer who matched Kyne's three goals.

FALK ON FIRE
Falk continues to score goals at a rapid pace, as her 3.0 goals per game is tied for seventh in the conference. With her 15 goals this year, she jumped up to fourth in school history, as she has 170 for her career. She now trails Sheila Zilinski for third place all-time by three goals, and needs 26 more by the end of the season to be Bloomsburg's all-time leading goal scorer.

DEFENSE CAUSING HAVOC
The Bloomsburg defense has been pesky so far this season, recording 71 ground balls, as opposed to just 44 by their opponents. The Huskies also have caused more turnovers (36-19), and a higher clear percentage (.816-.744) on the year.
