HUSKIES LOOK TO GET BACK ON WINNING TRACKBloomsburg had a five-game winning streak snapped at home on Wednesday, falling to No. 2 Lock Haven by a 9-5 score. The Huskies held their own against the second-ranked team in the country, finishing the game even in shots at 18-18, but could not break through the PSAC's top-ranked defense.
Julie Falk (Millersville/Penn Manor) scored two goals and had two assists to lead the way for BU, which had posted wins over Holy Family, No. 13 West Chester, Shippensburg, Gannon and Kutztown consecutively prior to Wednesday's setback.

Brigid Kyne (Newtown Square/Marple Newtown) ranks second in goals (16) and
Carly Ball (Lansdale/North Penn) third (13) with Taylor turner adding 10 goals.
Marisa Moley (Phoenixville/Spring-Ford) is second in points (22) thanks to a team-high 15 assists. Kyne also leads the team in both draw controls (24) and ground balls (24) as well as caused turnovers (18).
IN GOALBrittney Hegarty (Rochester/Rush Henrietta) has started all eight games so far for the Huskies, making 53 saves with an 8.57 goals against average that stands fourth in the PSAC this season.
Abbey Burnett (Frederick, MD/Walkersville) has appeared in each of the past two games, making eight saves in 60 minutes thus far.
ABOUT THE ROCKDespite losing five of its first eight games this season, The Rock had outscored its opponents by a 105-95 margin heading into a Thursday night contest at Gannon before scoring an 18-15 victory over the Lady Knights. SRU also had posted positive margins in ground balls (200-164), draw controls (107-99) and caused turnovers (88-66).
Senior attack Paige Constantino is among the PSAC's leaders in goals scored with 31 while junior Kaytlin Callaghan closely follows with 30 goals. Junior midfielder Erin Wilcox adds 27 goals to give The Rock a scoring triple threat.
Junior Jordan Wagner has seen the majority of time in net this year, starting all nine games while making 65 saves and posting an 11.90 goals against average.
Slippery Rock typically does not get shorted in shot attempts - The Rock averages 31.4 shots per game, the most in the PSAC.The Rock also is second in the PSAC this season in caused turnovers, forcing opponents on average into 10.5Â turnovers per game.
