LAST MEETINGLast season, the Huskies scored a road victory over Mercyhurst, 1-0. After playing a scoreless first half,
Chrissy Hollan (Laurys Station/Parkland) was awarded a penalty kick in the 76
th minute, and converted for the only goal of the game.
Megan Deak (West Islip, NY/West Islip) tallied seven saves in goal, while Bloomsburg recorded eight shots on goal.

SCOUTING MERCYHURSTMercyhurst enters Wednesday's contest with a record of 0-1-1, and is coming off of a 2-1 loss to Lock Haven. Nicole McAlpin has the only goal of the year for the Lakers, while Lauren Testa has the only assist. In goal, Kristen Koch has made 10 saves, while giving up only two goals.
LAST TIME OUTBloomsburg won its first game of the season, 3-2 (2OT), against Millersville.
Ashley Sanchez (Lyndhurst/DePaul Catholic) put the Huskies on the board in the 19
th minute, with
Jenna Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) assisting on the goal. After taking a 1-0 lead into halftime, Bloomsburg would concede a goal to the Marauders' Hailie Parker. Five minutes later, Victoria Kramer would give Millersville a 2-1 lead as she outpaced the defense and put a shot past goalie
Devon Haviland (Warminster/Archbishop Wood). The Huskies would tie things up in the final minute of the game, as Sanchez took a shot from distance and put it in the back of the net. Both teams would play to a scoreless first overtime, and then
Jenna Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) put in a rebound off of the goalie for the game-winner. Haviland tallied seven saves in net.
ALL-TIME SERIESThe all-time series between Bloomsburg and Mercyhurst is tied 6-6-1.
