LEWISBURG---The Bloomsburg University wrestling team picked up two wins on the afternoon, but fell to Bucknell University, 44-9, in a non-league match Sunday afternoon.

The Huskies forfeited three weight classes, but got wins from Andy Schutz (Exeter, Pa./Wyoming Area) at 133 pounds and Brendon Colbert (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) at 157 pounds.

Schutz opened his match with a quick takedown of Ben Bliss. He then picked up a two-point near fall before getting Bliss on his back and getting the pin. The pin was the team-leading eighth of the year for Schutz.

Colbert dominated his match with Logan Kerin. Colbert led 2-0 after one period getting a first period takedown. He started the second period on bottom and quickly escaped then got his second takedown to lead 5-0 after two periods. In the third Kerin escaped to begin the frame, but Colbert got his third takedown and then got a point for riding time to win 8-1.

Bloomsburg, 1-14, will wrestle at George Mason on Saturday at 2 p.m.
