STORYLINE
Bloomsburg and Kutztown meet under the lights at Steph Pettit Stadium in a crucial conference matchup on Tuesday night. The Golden Bears find themselves in fifth place in the PSAC standings with a 9-3 overall record and a 7-3 mark in league play (21 points). The Huskies are on the outside of a playoff spot as they are tied for tenth with a 5-5-2 overall mark and a 4-5-2 in conference action (14 points).

Kutztown leads the all-time series against Bloomsburg, 18-14-2.
LAST TIME OUT
Bloomsburg gave Edinboro everything it could handle last Friday but fell by a 1-0 score as the Fighting Scots got a penalty kick goal just over four minutes into the game. Edinboro outshot Bloomsburg, 10-7, and held a slight edge in penalty kicks, 7-6. Sophomore goalkeeper

Kutztown blanked Clarion, at home on Saturday, by a 3-0 final. Ashley Engler, Cara Griffith, and Kaylee Kupiec all scored for the Golden Bears, who outshot the Golden Eagles by a 22-2 margin. Jenna Bracken needed just one save for the shutout.
LAST MEETING
The two teams last met on October 13 of last season with Kutztown earning a 3-1 victory over the Huskies in Kutztown. The Golden Bears jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of goals less then two minutes apart in the first half.
Rachel Yenney (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) cut the lead to one with a goal early in the second half but the Golden Bears got a late goal from Sam Busillo to thwart the comeback bid. Bloomsburg goalkeeper

Bloomsburg is in a battle to reach the PSAC playoffs as it finds itself in a tie for tenth in the conference standings with 14 points - two points behind ninth-place Mercyhurst and four points behind a three-way tie among Gannon, Shippensburg, and IUP for sixth place. SCOUTING KUTZTOWN
Kutztown comes into the match fifth in the PSAC standings with a 9-3 overall record and a 7-3 mark in league play. The Golden Bears are one point behind fourth-place Slippery Rock in the conference standings. Kutztown is tied for fourth in the conference in scoring average (1.75) and ranks tied for third in the league in scoring defense (0.75). Maddie Mohr leads the Golden Bears in scoring with four goals and three assists for 11 points. She is tied for ninth in the league in scoring. Alaina Curry has added three goals and two assists for eight points while Madison McLelland has also scored three goals and has six points. Imani Taylor (eight games, seven starts) and Jenna Bracken (six games, five starts) have split time in goal. The duo has combined for five shutouts on the year.Â
