STORYLINE
Bloomsburg improved to 7-6-2 overall and 6-6-2 in conference play after they defeated #13 East Stroudsburg on Wednesday night. The win propelled them into ninth place in the conference, trailing Shippensburg and IUP for the eighth and final PSAC playoff spot by a single point. IUP comes into the contest after dropping a mid-week match to Seton Hill by a score of 2-1. The loss dropped the Crimson Hawks into a tie for eighth place in the conference. With the conference schedule winding down this matchup has major postseason implications.

IUP dropped a 2-1 decision to Seton Hill in its last match. The Griffins got on the board early in the ninth minute when a pass bounced off an IUP defender for an own goal. Seton Hill doubled its lead in the 22nd minute when Emily LoPresti headed home a corner kick. IUP attempted to mount a comeback when Courtney McHugh buried a penalty kick in the 74th minute but the game would ultimately end 2-1.

Devon Haviland (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) has continued to be a dominate force in the net for the Huskies. Haviland leads the conference in save percentage (.815) and is tied for first with six conference shutouts this season.
SCOUTING IUP
IUP, after losing to Seton Hill, sits at record of 8-7 overall and 7-6 mark in PSAC play. It is in a tie for eighth place with Shippensburg, both having 21 points on the season. The Crimson Hawks have been led by the strong play of Lexie Palluconi. Palluconi has tallied 18 points this season by way of eight goals and two assists. Palluconi's eight goals are tied for second-most in the PSAC. The Crimson Hawks are also receiving contributions from Kallie Conte (4g) and McKenna Keffel (3g, 2a) who each have eight points this year. Jessica Printz has played every minute in net for the Crimson Hawks this season posting a save percentage of .805 along with four shutouts.
