STORYLINE
Bloomsburg improved to 7-6-2 overall and 6-6-2 in conference play after they defeated #13 East Stroudsburg on Wednesday night. The win propelled them into ninth place in the conference, trailing Shippensburg and IUP for the eighth and final PSAC playoff spot by a single point. IUP comes into the contest after dropping a mid-week match to Seton Hill by a score of 2-1. The loss dropped the Crimson Hawks into a tie for eighth place in the conference. With the conference schedule winding down this matchup has major postseason implications.

The Huskies hold a slight a slight advantage over the Crimson Hawks in the all-time series, 11-9-1.

LAST TIME OUT
Bloomsburg continued its winning ways with a 2-0 upset victory over #13 East Stroudsburg on Wednesday night. The game was deadlocked at zero until the 40th minute of play when sophomore Allie Barber (Pittston Township, Pa./Pittston Area) found freshman Alexis Rostucher (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) behind the Warrior defense. Rostucher's initial shot was saved but she eventually fired in the rebound to give the Huskies the 1-0 lead. Bloomsburg added to its lead nine minutes into the second half when freshman Megan Callan (Eldersburg, Md./Century) found sophomore Jessica Supp (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) in the middle of the field. Supp was then able to place a one-timed shot into the back of the net. Sophomore Devon Haviland (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) finished the match with four saves in the winning effort.

IUP dropped a 2-1 decision to Seton Hill in its last match. The Griffins got on the board early in the ninth minute when a pass bounced off an IUP defender for an own goal. Seton Hill doubled its lead in the 22nd minute when Emily LoPresti headed home a corner kick. IUP attempted to mount a comeback when Courtney McHugh buried a penalty kick in the 74th minute but the game would ultimately end 2-1.

LAST MEETING
Bloomsburg and IUP last met at Steph Petit Stadium on October 24 of last year. Bloomsburg was able to secure the victory on senior day by a score of 2-0. The match stayed tied at zero until Jenna Fisher (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove) volleyed a Rachel Yenney (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) throw in past the keeper six minutes into the second half. The Huskies added an insurance goal in the 88th minute when senior Chrissy Hollan (Laurys Station/Parkland) blasted a penalty kick into the back of the net.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Bloomsburg, after taking down nationally ranked East Stroudsburg, sits in a tie for ninth place with Mercyhurst in the PSAC standings. It trails IUP and Shippensburg by one point for the eighth and final PSAC conference playoff spot. Sophomore Jessica Supp (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) has been leading the way for the Huskies offensively as she leads the team with four goals this season. Supp also has one assist on the year giving her nine points. Sophomore Allie Barber (Pittston Township, Pa./Pittston Area) also has nine points on the season with two goals and a team leading five assists. Freshman Megan Callan (Eldersburg, Md./Century) has also contributed two goals and two assists on the year. Senior Jenna Fisher (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove) has logged a team-leading two game-winning goals during the campaign. Sophomore goalkeeper Devon Haviland (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) has continued to be a dominate force in the net for the Huskies. Haviland leads the conference in save percentage (.815) and is tied for first with six conference shutouts this season.

SCOUTING IUP
IUP, after losing to Seton Hill, sits at record of 8-7 overall and 7-6 mark in PSAC play. It is in a tie for eighth place with Shippensburg, both having 21 points on the season. The Crimson Hawks have been led by the strong play of Lexie Palluconi. Palluconi has tallied 18 points this season by way of eight goals and two assists. Palluconi's eight goals are tied for second-most in the PSAC. The Crimson Hawks are also receiving contributions from Kallie Conte (4g) and McKenna Keffel (3g, 2a) who each have eight points this year. Jessica Printz has played every minute in net for the Crimson Hawks this season posting a save percentage of .805 along with four shutouts.
