BLOOMSBURG—In a battle of local EWL (Eastern Wrestling League)-rivals the Lock Haven Bald Eagles posted a 27-12 win over Bloomsburg University on Friday evening at the Nelson Field House.

The Bald Eagles picked up three bonus-point wins and had one win by forfeit on the night in knocking off the Huskies for the fourth straight year.

Bloomsburg got wins from
Matt Noble (Bridgewater, NJ/DePaul Catholic (NJ)) at 133 lbs, who posted a 5-3 decision for his ninth win of the season and
Brendon Colbert (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) at 157 lbs, who won 6-3 for his 10
th win. Also,
Trevor Allard (Mexico, NY/Mexico) at 174 lbs, who won 7-3 for his ninth win; and
Kyle Murphy (Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) at 184 lbs, who captured his eighth win with a 3-1 decision.

The Huskies are 3-6, 0-2 in the EWL, while Lock Haven is 3-3, 2-1 in the EWL. Bloomsburg is idle until Jan. 6 when it hosts Hofstra at 6 p.m.
