Brigid Kyne (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) tallied a career-high six goals while
Julie Falk (Millersville/Penn Manor) added three goals and an assists to lead Bloomsburg. The Huskies led, 7-5, at halftime, and outscored Millersville, 8-3 in the second half to pull away for the win. Abby Burnett made seven saves in goal for Bloomsburg.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURGThe Huskies enter the game with a record of 3-2 and are coming off of an 11-9 win at Edinboro on Saturday.
Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) led the way with three goals and two assists while Kyne tallied three goals. Abby Burnett made four saves in goal for Bloomsburg. Turner leads the Huskies on the season with 15 points and is tied with Kyne with 12 goals apiece for the team lead.
Kate Shea (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) is tops for Bloomsburg with four assists and has also chipped in with six goals this season. Overall, nine players have scored a goal for the Huskies in 2016. Burnett has started all five contests and made 25 saves in those games.
SCOUTING MILLERSVILLEThe Marauders come in looking for a win after back-to-back losses to West Chester (21-3) and IUP (15-12). On Saturday, Millersville found itself down 15-9 with 4:59 to play and scored three consecutive goals to bring it within 15-12 with 1:49 remaining. The Marauders were unable to shrink the gap any closer and lost their first home game of the season. Sabrina Fusco leads the team, and the PSAC, with 28 goals, and is third in the conference with 36 points. Behind Fusco is Bridget Hufnagel who has 20 goals and a team-high 11 assists. In goal Bryana Weston-Wyatt has started all seven games and made 50 saves for the Marauders.
