StatisticsSTORYLINEBloomsburg hosts its second consecutive nationally-ranked opponent as the Crimson Hawks of IUP invade Steph Pettit Stadium. The Huskies enter the contest on a three-game losing skid while IUP has won four straight and is one of two teams (Mercyhurst) still unbeaten in league play. The Griffins, meanwhile, have lost seven of their last eight (not including Friday's result at East Stroudsburg)
ALL-TIME SERIESBloomsburg leads the all-time series against IUP, 17-6. However, the Crimson Hawks have won four straight meetings between the two schools with Bloomsburg's last victory coming on March 25, 2011 (14-13).
Seton Hill leads the all-time series, 4-3, and has won three straight against the Huskies. Bloomsburg's last victory over the Griffins came on March 2, 2011 (10-8 in overtime) at Bloomsburg's Sports Stadium (now Steph Pettit Stadium).
LAST MEETINGLast season, IUP posted its fourth straight win over the Huskies with an 11-4 victory at Steph Pettit Stadium on April 22, 2015. The Crimson Hawks led 3-1 at halftime but then outscored the Huskies, 8-3, in the second half.

Also a year ago, Seton Hill knocked off Bloomsburg, 14-6, at DSG Field in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The Griffins jumped out to an 8-4 lead at halftime and extended the lead to the final 14-6 margin.
Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) scored twice for the Huskies.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURGBloomsburg enters with a 3-5 overall record and a 1-4 mark in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). The Huskies have lost three straight contests (all in conference play), including a 19-4 loss to ninth-ranked West Chester on Tuesday at Steph Pettit Stadium. Bloomsburg has not won since defeating Edinboro on the road, 11-9, on March 19. The Huskies are 11th in the PSAC in scoring offense (9.75 goals per game) and last in the league in scoring margin (-3.5 per game).
Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) leads the Huskies in scoring with 17 goals and five assists for 22 points. Turner also leads the team with five free-position goals, ranks second in ground balls (23), and is second in caused turnovers (14).
Brigid Kyne (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) leads the squad with 19 goals and ranks second with 21 points. She also leads the team in ground balls (34), draw controls (35), and caused turnovers (23).

Brittney Hegarty (Rochester, N.Y./Rush Henrietta) is 1-1 with a 13.92 goals against average and a .300 save percentage.
SCOUTING IUPThe Crimson Hawks are 6-3 overall and are one of two teams (Mercyhurst) that have not lost in conference play. IUP, ranked 20th in the country, has won four straight, including its most recent win - a 14-9 home victory over Seton Hill on Tuesday. IUP averages 13.44 goals per game - fifth in the conference - and allows only 9.22 goals per contest. The team's scoring margin of +4.2 is fifth in the PSAC. Amy Weinberg leads the team in scoring with eight goals and a PSAC-best 37 assists for 45 points. She is third in the league in points per game (5.00) and is fourth in total points (45). Ally Burrows leads the team in goals with 26 and is second in points with 27. She ranks in the top ten in the league in both goals (26) and goals per game (2.89). In goal, Angela Lontoc has seen most of the action and is 6-3 with an 8.68 goals against average and a .523 save percentage - second in the PSAC.
SCOUTING SETON HILLThe Griffins are off to a slow start, having won just two of their first nine games overall (not including Friday's result) and just one of five league contests to start the season. Seton Hill's most recent loss was a 14-9 setback at IUP on Tuesday. The Griffins have played a lot of close games and have only been outscored by 12 goals (105-93) on the season. Emily Fagan leads the team with 33 goals and 10 assists for 43 points. Her 3.67 goals per game is tops in the PSAC while her 33 total goals are tied for second in the conference. Fagan averages 4.78 points per game - fourth in the league. She also leads the team in shots on goal (49), ground balls (24), and draw controls (42). Renee Kania is tops on the team in assists with 21 and ranks second on the team with 29 points. She is seventh in the PSAC in assists per game (2.63). In goal, Meghan Hollar has started all nine games and is 2-7 with a 12.10 goals against average and a .456 save percentage.
