BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University women's track and field standout Alyssa Barthelmes (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) was named the PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 10.
 
At the Coach P Open at Moravian College on Sunday, Barthelmes took first in the 100-meter dash winning with a time of 12.38 seconds. In the prelims, Barthelmes set a meet record and ran a career-best 12.31 seconds.
 
The junior has qualified for the PSAC Outdoor Championships in three events (100-, 200-, and 400-meters) in 2016. Indoors, she is Bloomsburg's record holder in the 60-, 200- and 400-meter events.
