BLOOMSBURG NOTES:
The Huskies come in with a record of 3-8 overall and 0-3 in the Eastern Wrestling League (EWL). Bloomsburg suffered a pair of home losses against Hofstra (30-9) last Friday and against Edinboro (43-0) on Saturday. The Huskies have dropped six straight duals and have not won since defeating the University of Indianapolis, 20-12, at Purdue University on November 13.

Kevin Laubach (Berwick, Pa./Berwick Area) got the Huskies on the board with an 11-4 decision over Jake Kaminsky at 157 pounds. Freshman
Reid Stanley (Fredericksburg, OH/Waynedale) followed with a 3-1 win over Bobby Fehr at 165 pounds. Freshman
Kyle Murphy (Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) picked up the Huskies' last win of the night - a 3-2 decision over Michael Oxley at 184 pounds.

Trevor Allard (Mexico, NY/Mexico) are tied for the team lead in victories with a dozen apiece. Murphy sports a 12-8 overall mark while Allard enters with a 12-10 record on the season. Sophomore
Matt Noble (Bridgewater, NJ/DePaul Catholic (NJ)) is right behind with 11 victories.
Freshman
Willy Girard (Williamstown, Pa/Williams Valley), Laubach, and Graeber are tied for the team lead with three victories by fall. Allard leads with two technical falls on the season.
The Huskies are 1-0 against Virginia Military Institute and 1-1 against Columbia. Former EWL-foe, Pittsburgh, leads the all-time series against Bloomsburg, 21-18.
Bloomsburg will head back on the road next weekend. The Huskies will be at Brown University on Saturday, January 21 before traveling to Sacred Heart University on Sunday, January 22.
VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE NOTES:
VMI enters the weekend with an 0-6 overall record. Last Saturday, the Keydets suffered a 26-18 loss to George Mason and a 39-7 setback to Southern Illinois-Edwardsville to remain winless on the season.
Sophomore Neal Richards owns the best record on the team as he is 16-2 on the season at 157 pounds. He has won nine consecutive bouts dating back to November 20. Freshman Chris Beck, like Richards, won both of his matches last weekend at 184 pounds. He is 5-10 on the year.
Senior Dalton Henderson, who is second on the team with a 15-6 overall record, was forced to forfeit both matches last weekend due to an injury. He is expected to compete this weekend at 125 pounds.
PITTSBURGH NOTES:
The Panthers are 4-2 overall on the season but have not competed since December 29 at the Midlands Championships where they finished 26th overall. In their last dual on December 11, Pittsburgh posted a 23-15 victory over West Virginia.
Redshirt junior Nick Zanetta was the lone Pitt wrestler to reach the podium at the Midlands Championships as he placed eighth overall at 141 pounds by going 5-3 at the event.
The Panthers are ranked 23rd in the latest USA Today/NWCA Coaches Poll. Individually, three Panthers rank among the top 20 according to the latest InterMat rankings released this week. Leading the way is junior Dom Forys who is seventh in the country at 133 pounds. Sophomore TeShan Campbell is 11th at 165 pounds while redshirt junior Ryan Solomon is 20th in the country at 285 pounds.
COLUMBIA NOTES:
The Lions are 0-5 on the season and remained winless with a pair of setbacks last weekend. Columbia dropped a 32-3 decision at Buffalo last Saturday and then fell, 32-8, at Binghamton on Sunday afternoon.
Junior Garrett Ryan leads the team with a 14-5 overall record at 285 pounds. Junior Tyrel White (11-9) and junior Jacob Macalolooy (10-8) also sport double-digit victories to this point at 165 and 141 pounds, respectively.
White earned the Lions' lone victory at Buffalo last Saturday while freshman Alec Kelly (technical fall) and Ryan posted wins at Binghamton the following afternoon. Kelly will be looking to reach double figures in victories as a freshman this weekend. He is 7-8 on the year at 133 pounds.
