BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University wrestling team suffered a 32-6 loss at the hands of Rider University on Friday night at the Nelson Field House. The loss dropped the Huskies to 4-13 overall and 0-4 against Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) opponents. The Broncs, meanwhile, improved to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in the EWL.

Matt Noble (Bridgewater, NJ/DePaul Catholic (NJ)) and freshman
Nate Newberry (Biglerville, Pa./Biglerville) claimed victories for the Huskies at 133 and 149 pounds respectively. Noble took care of Brendan Calas, 4-1, for his 13th victory of the season. Newberry earned his second collegiate victory with a 3-2 win over Gino Fluri. The freshman is now 2-7 on the campaign.
Four other matches, that did not go Bloomsburg's way, were decided by three points or less. Freshman
