BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University men's swimming team will host Clarion University on Friday, November 10. Start time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. from the Nelson Field House Pool.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies enter the meet with a 1-2 record on the season and are coming off of a 128-76 win over visiting Edinboro University at the Nelson Field House Pool last Friday evening in the team's home opener. Bloomsburg opened the season on October 20 in West Chester and lost to both the Golden Rams (155-67) and to Division I Lehigh (165-57) in a tri-meet. The Huskies did post 15 PSAC-qualifying marks in the season-opening event.
Against Edinboro last Friday, Bloomsburg got six individual victories and added wins in both the 200-yard medley relay to start the evening and the 400-yard freestyle relay to conclude the night. Senior
Sam Feiser (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) collected a victory in the 100-yard butterfly and then was a part of both relay-winning teams as he led the Huskies with three victories. Sophomore
Doug Boehme (Blue Bell, Pa./Buxmont Christian Academy) won both distance events to lead the way with two individual wins. Senior
Paul Rocchi (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and sophomore
Jordan Wyant (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) each had an individual and a relay win while sophomore
Colin Bauer (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) and senior
Josh Grzech (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) were part of both relay-winning teams. Freshman
Noah Cancro (Limerick, Pa./Spring-Ford) had the other individual victory on the night.
All told, the Huskies posted 17 PSAC-qualifying marks on the evening.
In the season opener, Feiser picked up Bloomsburg's only victory of the night in the 50-yard freestyle. He also was part of the Huskies' second-place 200-yard freestyle relay team and then took third in the 100-yard freestyle. Feiser won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.30 and his time of 47.87 was good for third in the 100-yard freestyle. He capped off the night by joining Bauer, Grzech, and Wyant for the second-place result in the 200-yard freestyle relay and the team posted a time of 1:25.61.
SCOUTING CLARION
The Golden Eagles are 1-2 on the young season with their only victory coming against Shippensburg, 105-100, last Friday, November 3. However, Clarion is coming off of a 218-83 setback at Carnegie Mellon on Saturday, November 4.
In its latest meet against Carnegie Mellon, Clarion got two wins from Nathan Porter, who finished the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:00.32 and then went on to take the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:57.19. Cary Johns captured first place in the 1 meter dive with a score of 298.28. In the 100 yard individual medley, Clarion senior Ben Spencer topped the field with a time of 53.98 to round out the event winners for the Golden Eagles.

Bloomsburg will head to Dickinson College on Saturday, November 18, for a 1:00 p.m. start in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
