BLOOMSBURG NOTES:
The Huskies enter Friday's dual with a 4-15 overall record and an 0-5 mark against Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) opponents. Last Friday, the Huskies dropped a heartbreaking, 26-23, decision at EWL-rival, Cleveland State.
Bloomsburg has lost three straight and has dropped 13 of its last 14 duals. The lone win during the stretch was a 28-21 victory at Sacred Heart on January 22
Against the Vikings last Friday, Bloomsburg won five of the ten matches but could not overcome a pair of forfeit losses and bonus points in Cleveland State's three other victories. For the Huskies, freshman
Willy Girard (Williamstown, Pa/Williams Valley) won by decision and redshirt freshman Matt Noble won by fall to give Bloomsburg a 9-0 lead. Then, trailing 12-9, senior Kevin Laubach earned his team-leading fifth fall of the season at 157 pounds to recapture the Huskies' lead. Redshirt freshman
Trevor Allard (Mexico, N.Y./Mexico) then won by decision at 174 to put the Huskies in front, 17-16, before the Vikings earned a major decision and a forfeit to take the lead for good. Freshman
Bruce Graeber (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) ended the night on a high note with his fourth fall of the season in the heavyweight bout.
With his win on Friday night, Allard extended his team-lead in victories as he now has 18 wins on the season. Of his 18 victories, he has had two technical falls and one major decision. Freshman
Kyle Murphy (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) is on a bit of a dry spell but is still second on the team with 15 victories. Noble is third with 14 wins while Graeber is fourth with 11. Joining double figures in victories last weekend were Girard and Laubach, who now have ten wins apiece. Freshman Reid Stanley is one win away from reaching double figures while redshirt freshman
Grant Bond (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) is two wins shy of double digits.

Clarion leads the all-time series against Bloomsburg, 23-21-2. The Huskies have lost two straight against the Golden Eagles, including a 24-19 setback at the Nelson Field House last season (November 15, 2015).
CLARION NOTES:
Clarion enters the contest with a record of 4-9 overall and a 1-3 mark against EWL opponents. In their last matchup, the Golden Eagles dropped a 21-17 decision, at home, against Ohio University.
Redshirt sophomore Jake Gromacki is the reigning EWL Wrestler of the Week as he upset #15 Shakur Laney of Ohio University by decision, 8-1, at 125 pounds. Gromacki is ranked 30th in the country according to the latest coaches' poll. The Golden Eagles also feature 16th-ranked Brock Zacherl at 141 pounds. Zacherl, who won last Friday, improved to 19-2 on the season.
The Golden Eagles feature eight wrestlers in their probable starting lineup that have won at least ten matches this season. Zacherl leads the way with 19 while Gromacki is second with 16. Evan DeLong sports a 15-8 record at 165 while Dom Rigous is 13-6 while competing at 174. Taylor Cahill also has 13 wins but is 13-18 overall at 157 pounds. Also in double figures are Roshaun Cooley (11-16) at 133, Scott Marmoll (12-12) at 184, and Dustin Conti (11-7) at 197.
