Box Score Bloomsburg, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University women's lacrosse team moved to 2-0 with an 18-1 victory over Wilmington (Del.) on Wednesday evening at Steph Pettit Stadium. The Wildcats dropped to 1-3 with the loss.

Freshman
Sydney Collins (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) recorded her first four collegiate goals to lead the way for the Huskies, while
Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) and
Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) each added three goals.
Brigid Kyne (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) tallied two goals and a team-high three assists, and
Lindsey Coyle (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) recorded her first two goals of the 2017 season.

Collins opened the scoring just 24 seconds in the game, and was followed by Kyne's goal less than three minutes later, giving Bloomsburg a quick 2-0 lead. The Huskies would jump out to a 5-0 lead before a goal by La'Dae Boykin halted the run and put Wilmington on the board.

That would be the last goal scored by the Wildcats,
Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) tallied nine saves to pick up her second collegiate win.

Bloomsburg would respond with five more goals, including one with 24 seconds left by
Erin Boulger (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area), to take a 10-1 lead into the break.

It would be more of the same in the final 30 minutes, as Collins tallied another goal, thirty seconds into the second half, courtesy of a free position shot. The freshman would add one more goal in the final half, while Jaskuta posted all three of her scores in the final 22 minutes of the contest.

Bloomsburg outshot Wilmington, 42-15, and tallied 23 ground balls as opposed to just 12 by the Wildcats.
