Box Score Bloomsburg, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University women's lacrosse team suffered a 20-10 setback versus Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) foe, Lock Haven, on Tuesday afternoon.

With the loss, the Huskies drop to 8-6 (5-5 PSAC), while the Bald Eagles move to 8-6 (5-4 PSAC) on the season.

Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) led the way with four goals, while
Brigid Kyne (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) added two goals and two assists. Rachel Engler tallied seven goals and two assists on the day for Lock Haven.

The Huskies, coming off of a 21-15 senior day win over Gannon on Saturday, opened the game with goals from Kyne and
Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) to take a 2-0 lead with 24:33 left in the first half.

However, the Bald Eagles responded with five goals in the next two and half minutes, including three by Engler, to take a 5-2 lead.

Sydney Collins (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) snapped the scoring drought with her 19
th goal of the season, but Lock Haven responded within 50 seconds to keep their lead at three goals, 6-3, with 18:46 remaining in the half.

The two teams suffered through an 11-minute scoring drought until Kyne and Turner found the back of the net for the Huskies to make it a one goal game with under 5:30 left in the half. The Bald Eagles chipped-in one more score to take a 7-5 lead into the break.

In the second half, Lock Haven extended their lead to 9-6 with 24:41 remaining, but back-to-back goals by Turner made it a 9-8 game.

Lock Haven ended the final 20:39 on an 11-2 run, including six straight goals, that put the game out of the reach for Bloomsburg.

For the game, the Bald Eagles outshot the Huskies, 28-27, and held a 22-9 advantage in draw controls.
