STORYLINE
The seventh-ranked Bloomsburg University field hockey team heads to IUP on Saturday evening in search of its first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) victory of the season. The Huskies are 6-3 overall but 0-2 in league play after suffering shutout losses to Kutztown and East Stroudsburg to open conference action. The Crimson Hawks are just 3-7 overall but are 2-1 in league play with wins over Slippery Rock and Seton Hill.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Huskies are 47-9-1 lifetime against the Crimson Hawks in the all-time series. Last season, Bloomsburg posted a 2-1 win over IUP at Steph Pettit Stadium. The Huskies trailed 1-0 at halftime before getting two early second-half goals to knock off the Crimson Hawks. Bloomsburg held a 14-10 advantage in shots and an 8-5 edge in penalty corners.
Dana Sheply (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) turned aside six shots to earn the victory in goal.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies, ranked seventh in the latest Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II poll, is coming off of a 3-0 loss against second-ranked East Stroudsburg on Tuesday afternoon at Steph Pettit Stadium. Prior to that, Bloomsburg got goals from four different players including three from freshmen who scored their first collegiate goals -
Foto Tsioles (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West),
Callie Edwards (Swoyersville, Pa./Wyoming Valley West), and
Sydney Rimmer (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) - in a 4-0 victory over Queens (NC) last Sunday morning. Junior
Tesa Hoffman (Freeburg, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) entered the season with two goals and one assist for five points in her first 38 collegiate games but leads the team in scoring this season with five goals and four assists for 14 points. She is tied for seventh in the PSAC in assists while ranking seventh in points per game (1.56) and in a tie for seventh in goals. Senior
Erica Krebs (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) has also set career-high in goals (5), assists (3), and points (13) this season. She is eighth in the league in points per game (1.44) and tied for seventh in goals. Junior
Ali McKay (Dover, Del./Polytech) is third on the team with a goal and three assists for five points. Twelve other Huskies have at least one point on the season to help a balanced scoring attack. In goal, sophomore
Dana Sheply (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) has started each of the last four games in goal and is 2-2 with a 1.00 goals against average and an .862 save percentage. Despite starting only four games, she is tied for third in the PSAC in shutouts with two. Sophomore
Hannah Barnard (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) started the first five games and is 4-1 with a 1.14 goals against average and an .824 save percentage. She leads the PSAC in save percentage and is tied for third in the league with two shutouts. She also ranks fourth in goals against average and in saves per game (5.60).

SCOUTING IUP
IUP is coming off of its most dominating performance of the year in a 4-1 win over Seton Hill on Tuesday afternoon. The Crimson Hawks held a 22-4 shot advantage and scored twice in the first five minutes of the contest. It was IUP's second win in three conference games to start league play. Brianna Lubarsky tallied two assists against Seton Hill and is tied with Matti Reightler for the team-lead with three helpers. Reightler is tied with Selena West with a team-high seven points on the year. Reightler had a goal and assist Tuesday against the Griffins. IUP is tied for the Division II lead with seven defensive saves in ten games this season. Molloy (12 games) and American International (nine games) also have seven saves by defenders this year. Taylor Flanagan and Madalyn Christen are tied for the team lead with three this year. That figure also has them tied for the conference lead in that category. In goal, Olivia Accardi has seen all but 25 minutes of the action and is 3-7 with a 2.41 goals against average and a .773 save percentage. She has one shutout on the season.
