STORYLINE
Tuesday's game features a battle between two top ten teams as the sixth-ranked Bloomsburg University field hockey team meets third-ranked East Stroudsburg University at Steph Pettit Stadium. The Huskies are looking for their first PSAC win of the season while the Warriors are a perfect 2-0 in league play to start the year.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series against East Stroudsburg, 47-11. The Warriors, however, have won five of the last six meetings between the two schools, including a 3-2 overtime win against the Huskies in East Stroudsburg last season. Erica Krebs (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) and
MacKenna Mahan (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) scored for the Huskies in the second half to force overtime. The Warriors outshot the Huskies, 21-12.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies, ranked sixth in the latest Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II poll, will be searching for a second consecutive win after posting a 4-0 shutout win over Queens (NC) on Sunday morning. Bloomsburg got goals from four different players including three from freshmen who scored their first collegiate goals -
Foto Tsioles (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West),
Callie Edwards (Swoyersville, Pa./Wyoming Valley West), and
Sydney Rimmer (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley). Senior
Erica Krebs (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) had the other while sophomore
Dana Sheply (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) had six saves for her second shutout in three starts. Junior
Tesa Hoffman (Freeburg, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) entered the season with two goals and one assist for five points in her first 38 collegiate games but leads the team in scoring this season with five goals and four assists for 14 points. She is tied for fourth in the PSAC in assists while ranking sixth in points per game (1.75) and in a tie for seventh in goals. Krebs has also set career-high in goals (5), assists (3), and points (13) this season. She is seventh in the league in points per game (1.63) and tied for seventh in goals. Junior
Ali McKay (Dover, Del./Polytech) is third on the team with a goal and three assists for five points. Twelve other Huskies have at least one point on the season to help a balanced scoring attack. In goal, sophomore
Dana Sheply (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) has started each of the last three games in goal and is 2-1 with a 0.33 goals against average and a .944 save percentage. Despite starting only three games, she is tied for third in the PSAC in shutouts. Sophomore
Hannah Barnard (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) started the first five games and is 4-1 with a 1.14 goals against average and an .824 save percentage. She leads the PSAC in save percentage and is tied for third in the league with two shutouts. She also ranks fourth in goals against average and in saves per game (5.60).

SCOUTING EAST STROUDSBURG
The Warriors have rattled off three consecutive shutout victories to move to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in league play. East Stroudsburg is 4-2 this season against teams ranked in the top ten in the country. Most recently, the Warriors blanked Mercyhurst, 4-0, on Saturday as they got goals from Bailey Quinn, Emily Spangler, Ashley Ceschini, and Celeste Veenstra in the victory. East Stroudsburg has outscored its opponents, 32-5, and has outshot its opponents, 153-66. Eleven different players have at least two goals on the season led by Quinn's five. She leads the team with 11 points (five goals, one assist) and has two game-winning goals to her credit. Paige Harrold and Makenna Marhefka each have four goals and two assists for ten points while Ceschini and Karly Conway have three goals and two assists for eight points apiece. Maddie Richie has started all nine contests and is 7-2 with a 0.58 goals against average and an .808 save percentage. She is second in the PSAC in goals against average and shutouts (3) while ranking third in save percentage.
