The sixth-seeded Bloomsburg University field hockey team heads to third-seeded Shippensburg University looking for an upset in a PSAC quarterfinal match at the Robb Sports Complex. The Huskies will be looking to advance to the semifinal round for the first time since 2015 as Bloomsburg's last playoff victory was at Shippensburg on November 3, 2015 - a 3-2 overtime win.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series, 45-22-1, but the Raiders have narrowed the gap as they have defeated the Huskies in 10 of the last 11 meetings. Back on October 20, Shippensburg defeated Bloomsburg, 2-0, at Steph Pettit Stadium to snap a string of four consecutive games in which the outcome was decided by one goal. Jenna Sluymer and Adreinne McGarrigle scored for the Raiders. The Huskies outshot the Raiders, 18-11, in the match and held a 9-8 edge in penalty corners.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Bloomsburg enters the PSAC tournament as the sixth seed as the Huskies won their final two matches, and four of their last five, to sneak into the final spot. The Huskies clinched the last spot on the final day of the regular season when they defeated Seton Hill, 5-1, at Steph Pettit Stadium. After falling behind, 1-0, Bloomsburg rattled off five consecutive goals - two each from juniors
Willow Perkins (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) and
Ali McKay (Dover, Del./Polytech) and one from freshman
Madilyn McKay (Dover, Del./Polytech) - to pull off the win. Senior
Tali Wehner (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) tied a career-high with three assists in the victory. Despite missing the last five games, junior
Tesa Hoffman (Freeburg, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) continues to lead the Huskies in scoring with career-highs in goals (5), assists (5), and points (15). Senior
Erica Krebs (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) has also established career-bests in goals (5), assists (4), and points (14) this season. Perkins has moved into third on the team in scoring with career-highs in goals (5), assists (2), and points (12).
Ali McKay (Dover, Del./Polytech) has moved into fourth with four goals and three assists for 11 points while Wehner is also in double digits with two goals and six assists for 10 points - career-highs in all three categories. Twelve other players have at least one point on the season - nine of those with at least one goal - to help a balanced scoring attack. Defensively, senior
Jackie Shragher (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) is tied for fifth in the PSAC with two defensive saves. In goal, sophomore
Dana Sheply (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) and sophomore
Hannah Barnard (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) have both seen action. Barnard started the first five contests and is 4-1 with a 1.04 goals against average and an .824 save percentage. SCOUTING SHIPPENSBURG
The Raiders are the third seed in the tournament and are on a seven-game winning streak which includes an 8-0 thumping of Mercyhurst on the final day of the regular season. However, two of Shippensburg's three losses this season have come at home. The offense runs through sophomore sensation Jazmin Petrantonio who leads the conference in points per game (2.53) and ranks second in the PSAC in both goals (19) and points (43). She finished two points behind Kutztown's Kyra Wozniak for the regular season scoring title but played one less game. Jenna Sluymer is next on the team with 11 goals and nine assists for 31 points, ranking seventh in the league in points per game (1.82) and tied for third in assists. Emily Stauffer (eight goals, two assists), Adrienne McGarrigle (six goals, four assists), Kelly Shulenberger (five goals, two assists), and Megan Green (five goals) are also in double figures.
