STORYLINE
The Huskies look to get their first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) win of the season on Tuesday (Mar. 20) and move their record to above .500.

ALL-TIME SERIES
This will be the 51st all-time meeting between Bloomsburg and Shippensburg. BU holds the advantage, leading the all-time series 28-21-1.

LAST MEETING
The Huskies defeated the Raiders 8-4 last season on Mar. 18, 2017 at Shippensburg. After falling behind 1-0 on a Shippensburg goal less than five minutes in, the Huskies scored the next five goals to take a 5-1 lead. Unassisted goals from Brigid Kyne (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown), Sydney Collins (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) and Erin Boulger (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area) put the Huskies up by two, before goals by Cailyn Gormley (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) assisted by Collins and a woman-up goal from Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) assisted by Kyne stretched the Huskies lead to four. Shippensburg would score in the final seconds of the half to send the teams to the break with BU up 5-2. Bloomsburg won the second half 3-2, scoring the first three goals of the half. Lindsey Coyle (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) (27:40), Collins (16:21) and Kyne (8:03) all scored unassisted to move the Huskies to an 8-2 advantage, before Shippensburg would score two late goals. Kyne and Collins each scored twice, while Turner, Boulger, Gormley and Coyle each scored once. Kyne and Collins also had one assist each in the win. Bloomsburg scooped up 21 ground balls as a team, caused 13 turnovers and won seven draw controls. Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) made 11 saves in the cage in the win.

LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies dropped their conference opener to No. 21 Mercyhurst 14-9 on Saturday (Mar. 17). Mercyhurst scored the first two goals in the opening minute, before goals from Tracy Rusen (Martinsville, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan), Anna Dempsey (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) and Turner put the Huskies up 3-2 with 13 and a half minutes to play in the first half. Mercyhurst would score back-to-back goals to take a 4-3 lead with nine minutes to go, before a goal from Gormley knotted the game at four-apiece and capped off the scoring in the first half. The teams went to the break tied at four. Another woman-up goal from Rusen assisted by Turner would start the second half, before Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) scored from Gormley 2:31 into the half to put Bloomsburg up 6-4. Two Laker goals tied the game at six, before the teams exchanged goals to tie the game with 13 minutes left. Bloomsburg's goal came from Gormley in the sequence. Mercyhurst would out-score Bloomsburg 7-2 in the last 13 minutes to begin to take control. Rusen tallied her third of the game assisted by Turner with 10 minutes to play to get Bloomsburg within one, before Mercyhurst took control and scored the next three. Jaskuta would score from Coyle with 4:14 left as the final goal for Bloomsburg in the game.

Five Huskies scored in the loss, led by three from Rusen. Gormley and Jaskuta each scored twice, while Turner and Dempsey each tallied one goal. Turner led the team with three helpers, while Gormley dished out two assists and Coyle had one. Bloomsburg collected 31 ground balls to Mercyhurst's 29, with Abby Nocito (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) grabbing a game-high seven. Delaney Schappert (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport South Manor) and Erika Biehl (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) each picked up four, while DiPasquale recorded three. Four others had two each, while another five players each scooped up one. Mercyhurst won the battle for draw controls 17-8, led by Turner and Kirsten Wozniak (Oradell, N.J./River Dell Regional) with three each. Gormley and Boulger each grabbed one.  The Huskies also caused 17 of Mercyhurst's 28 turnovers, with a team-high three from Schappert. Turner, Tiffany Diachynsky (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) and Nocito each caused two, while eight others caused one turnover apiece in the loss. DiPasquale (2-2) took the loss in the cage, making 10 saves.

The Raiders dropped their PSAC game against Gannon 11-10 at home back on Saturday (Mar. 17). Gannon opened the scoring with a goal 44 seconds in, before Shippensburg would score the next three. Madi Newman from Jena MacDonald, Allison Fugate unassisted and Jordan Kengor from MacDonald put the Raiders up 3-1 with 17:21 to play in the first half. Gannon's second goal of the game was countered by two more from Shippensburg, coming from Maddie Siejk assisted by Newman and Alana Cardaci assisted by MacDonald to put the Raiders up 5-2 with 3:27 to play in the half. Gannon would score in the final seconds of the first half to send the game to the half with Shippensburg leading 5-3. A Gannon goal to start the second half was countered by an unassisted goal from Siejk, before Gannon would score two in a row to tie the game at six-all with 22 minutes to play.Kyra Shank scored unassisted to put Shippensburg up 7-6, before four straight from Gannon would put the Lady Knights up 10-7 with 12 minutes to play. The Raiders would respond with three goals in the final 11 minutes to tie the game at 10. Siejk unassisted (11:10), Cardaci from Newman (10:22) and Fugate unassisted (1:41) knotted the game at 10, before the Lady Knights scored the winner with 26 seconds left.

Siejk led the Raiders with a hat trick on the day, while Cardaci and Fugate each scored twice and three others contributed one goal each in the loss. MacDonald dished out a team-high three assists, along with two from Newman. Shippensburg collected 21 ground balls as a team, with Siejk and Makenzie Magnotta each grabbing four to lead the team. Caroline Carbonaro had three, while Kengor and Valerie Hertz each scooped up two. Six other Raiders picked up one ground ball apiece in the game. The Raiders caused nine turnovers as a team, led by three from Magnotta. Hertz caused two in the game, while four others caused one each. Shippensburg also won 12 draw controls in the contest, with a team-high four from Hertz. Jessica DeMarte recorded three, while Newman and Morgan Stone each collected two and Siejk pulled down one. KiKi Brasher (3-2) took the loss between the pipes, stopping 12 shots.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies are eighth in the conference in scoring averaging 14.75 goals per game, while allowing 12.10 goals per game. Grace Kelleher (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) is the team's leading goal-scorer with 10 on the season, while Gormley is second on the team with nine.  11 other Huskies have contributed goals on the season for Bloomsburg. Collins leads the team in assists with seven, while Kelleher is second on the team with six. Seven others have set up at least one goal on the season. Kelleher is also the team's point leader with 16 (10 G, six A), while three others have double-digit points in Turner (12, seven G, five A), Collins (four G, seven A) and Gormley (10, nine G, one A). Nine others have registered points so far on the season. Bloomsburg is tied for seventh in the league in ground balls with 117, led by 16 from Nocito. Nocito's total is fifth in the league individually. Four others have picked up at least 10 ground balls on the season. BU is also tied for third in the conference in caused turnovers with 61, led by 11 from Diachynsky which is the fourth-highest total in the conference. Nocito and Turner are second on the team with eight caused turnovers on the season, while Schappert has also caused six. 12 others have caused turnovers on the season. The Huskies have won 48 draw controls on the season, with Turner's 12 leading the team. Smith is the only other Husky with double digits in the category with 10. Nine others have grabbed at least one on the season. Between the pipes, DiPasquale has a 12.41 goals against average (GAA), 41 saves and a .451 save percentage on the season. Her 41 saves are the seventh-highest total in the conference.

SCOUTING SHIPPENSBURG
The Raiders score 13.40 goals per game, while allowing 8.60 goals per game which is the sixth-best average in the conference. Cardaci leads the team with 12 goals, while Fugate is second on the team with 10. 12 other Raiders have scored on the season. MacDonald leads the team with 10 assists which is tied for seventh individually in the PSAC, while eight others have assisted at least one goal on the season. MacDonald is the team's points leader with 18 on the season (eight G, 10 A), while three others also have at least 10 points on the campaign. Fugate has totaled 15 (10 G, five A), Cardaci has 14 (12 G, two A) and Newman has recorded 11 (seven G, four A). 10 others have recorded points on the year for Shippensburg. The Raiders have the fifth-highest ground ball total in the conference with 138, with Hertz's 19 as a team-high. Hertz's total is fourth in the conference individually. Five others have scooped up at least 10 ground balls on the year. Shippensburg is tied with Bloomsburg for third in the conference in caused turnovers with 61. Hertz leads the conference individually with 14 and is the only Raider with at least 10 on the year. The Raiders are ninth in the conference in draw controls with 59, with Newman's 15 being a team-high individually. Hertz (13) and Stone (10) are the only others with at least 10 draw controls on the season. Brasher's 8.60 GAA is seventh in the league, while her 48 saves are fifth in the conference. Among goalkeepers who have allowed goals on the season, her .527 save percentage is also seventh in the league.
