STORYLINE
The Huskies look to win their third in a row in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play when they take on Seton Hill on the road on Wednesday (Mar. 28).
 
ALL-TIME SERIES
This will be the ninth all-time meeting between Bloomsburg and Seton Hill. The series is tied 4-4.
 
LAST MEETING
The Huskies defeated Seton Hill 9-8 in overtime last season on Apr. 7, 2017 in Greensburg. The Huskies scored the first two goals in the first four minutes, with Brigid Kyne (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) scoring from Sydney Collins (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) 1:17 in and Collins scoring unassisted less than four minutes in. Seton Hill would score their first goal less than 10 minutes in, before a goal from Erin Boulger (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area) assisted by Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) came 30 seconds later. Over the next seven minutes, Seton Hill scored twice to tie the game at three-all. Jaskuta would score from Kyne with 12:57 left in the half, before Seton Hill would score with 6:13 left in the half to tie the game at four. Tracy Rusen (Martinsville, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) scored the final goal of the first half from Jaskuta with 4:22 left, taking Bloomsburg to the break up 5-4. Seton Hill would tie the game again just 1:57 into the second half, before Rusen (25:19, assisted by Kyne) and Jaskuta (19:29, unassisted) would put the Huskies up 7-5. Seton Hill would score the next two goals and tie the game going into the final 10 minutes of regulation. Seton Hill took an 8-7 lead with 6:53 to play, before Jaskuta tied the game with 1:36 remaining to send it to overtime. With 48 seconds remaining in the extra session, Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) scored unassisted to seal the win for the Huskies.
 
Seton Hill out-shot Bloomsburg 34-25 in the win, including 23-19 in shots on goal. Jaskuta recorded a hat trick in the win, while Rusen scored twice and four others each scored once. Jaskuta and Kyne each dished out a team-high two assists, while Collins also registered one. Bloomsburg grabbed 23 ground balls to Seton Hill's 31, led by a game-high six from winning goalie Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus). Kyne scooped up five, Turner picked up four and Kate Shea (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) and Delaney Schappert (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport South Manor) each picked up two. Four others each snatched one in the win. The Huskies caused 12 of Seton Hill's 18 turnovers, with Kyne and Julia Stauffer (Reinholds, Pa./Cocalico) each causing three. Turner forced two turnovers in the game, while four others each caused one. Seton Hill held a slim 10-9 edge in draw controls, with Kyne grabbing a game-high five for BU. Jaskuta also recorded three, while Schappert collected one. DiPasquale got the win in the cage, making a career-high 15 saves.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies upset No. 20 Millersville 16-13 on the road back on Sunday (Mar. 25). Millersville scored the first three goals of the game to force a Bloomsburg timeout just over 10 minutes into the half. Cailyn Gormley (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) (18:37) assisted by Kirsten Wozniak (Oradell, N.J./River Dell Regional) and Gormley again (18:08) assisted by Abby Bergman (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) would get the Huskies back within one, before a Millersville goal pushed their lead to 4-2 with 16 and a half minutes to play in the half. Free position goals from Lindsey Coyle (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) (10:25) and Gormley (8:26) would knot the game at four, before another quick Millersville goal put the Marauders back up 5-4. Grace Kelleher (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) would score unassisted to tie the game at five with 6:47 to play in the half, before Millersville again took a one-goal lead a minute later. Another Millersville goal with just over five minutes to play in the half stretched their lead to two, before BU would close out the half with three consecutive goals to take their lead to the break. Kelleher assisted by Gormley (3:52), Rusen assisted by Wozniak (3:14) and a free position goal from Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) with 28 seconds left would send the Huskies to the half with a one-goal lead. The first two minutes of the second half were a flurry of scoring. Rusen began the second half with her second of the game coming just 22 seconds in assisted by Kelleher, before Jaskuta scored her second of the game before the two-minute mark from Gormley. Jaskuta's goal was the first of three goals to come in a 31-second span. Millersville would interrupt the BU scoring frenzy with a goal before Megan Smith (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Jefferson Township) would net one of her own on a free position attempt. Millersville would score again before Rusen would complete the hat trick just 1:12 later. Another Millersville marker would get them back within two before another goal from Coyle would re-gain the three-goal lead for the Huskies with 22:32 to play in the second half. As the clock ticked down into the final 12 minutes, Erin Boulger (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area) got in on the scoring with an unassisted goal to move BU's lead to 14-10 with 11:25 left. Millersville would score at 10:17 of the second half, before Rusen's fourth of the game (7:59) was assisted by Coyle to leave Bloomsburg up 15-11. Jaskuta's hat trick goal on a free position attempt with 5:39 would stretch the lead to a game-high five for Bloomsburg, before Millersville would score just 16 seconds later. Millersville scored the final goal of the game with 3:36 left.
 
Bloomsburg out-shot Millersville 32-30 in the win including a 22-21 edge in shots on goal. Rusen's four goals were a game and also a single-game career-high, while Gormley and Jaskuta recorded hat tricks in the win. Kelleher and Coyle each scored twice, while Smith and Boulger each tallied one goal. Gormley, Gormley and Wozniak each dished out two helpers in the contest, along with one each from Kelleher, Coyle and Bergman. Millersville had the slight 22-21 edge in ground balls, with winning goalie Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) collecting a team-high five for Bloomsburg. Six Huskies scooped up two ground balls apiece in the win, while another four players each picked up one. Bloomsburg caused 15 of Millersville's 23 turnovers in the win, led by three from Delaney Schappert (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport South Manor). Four other Huskies each caused two turnovers on the day, while another four recorded one caused turnover each. Millersville won the battle for draw controls 16-14, with Smith pulling down a team-high five for BU. Danielle Ward (Albrightsville, Pa./Vernon Township) collected four on the afternoon, while Turner and Bergman each grabbed two. Rusen also snatched one in the win. Between the pipes, DiPasquale (4-2) made eight saves in the win.
 
The Griffins fell to No. 13 West Chester 16-3 back on Saturday (Mar. 24). West Chester scored the first five goals of the game over the first 20 minutes of the first half, before Savannah Monroe scored a woman-up goal from Katelyn Cressman with 9:06 left in the half to get the Griffins on the board. West Chester would score the next 11 goals, including scoring the final five of the first half. Ellie Uecker unassisted (4:55) and Monroe assisted by Alexis Petrarca (3:32) would be the final goals of the game for Seton Hill.
 
Monroe led the Griffins with two goals, while Uecker scored the other goal. Cressman and Petrarca picked up the assists for Seton Hill in the game. Seton Hill collected 19 ground balls in the loss, with four Griffins each picking up three. Kamille Ward grabbed two, while another five others each grabbed one. Seton Hill caused six of West Chester's 14 turnovers in the game, with Eden Olson causing a team-high three. Three other Griffins caused turnovers in the game. The Griffins won eight draw controls in the game, led by a team-high four from Courtney Pontious. Nellie Phillips snatched three, while Taylor Fox-Trudel also recorded one. Hailey Jacobs took the loss in the cage, making five saves in 38:15. Ward played the final 21:45 in goal, making three saves.
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies have the fifth-highest scoring average in the PSAC with a mark of 15.33 goals per game, while allowing 12.71 goals per game. Both Kelleher and Gormley are tied for the team lead in goals and tied for ninth individually in the conference with 15. Rusen has also scored 13 goals on the season, while Jaskuta has contributed 12. Nine other Huskies have scored so far on the season. Kelleher is also the only Husky with double-digit assists, leading the team with 10. Her total is tied for eighth in the conference. 11 others have assisted on goals so far on the season. Kelleher (15 G, 10 A) is also the team's point leader and tied for 10th in the conference with 25. Five others have totaled at least 10 points so far on the season. Bloomsburg is fourth in the conference in ground balls with 176 on the season. DiPasquale leads the team and is tied for fourth in the conference with 26, while seven others have collected at least 10 on the season. BU leads the conference in caused turnovers with 96, while Tiffany Diachynsky (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) leads the team and is tied for fourth in the league with 14. Turner and Schappert are both tied for fifth in the conference and second on the team with 13, while Abby Nocito (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) is sixth in the conference and third on the team with 11. The Huskies are the eighth-best team in the league on draw controls, winning 79 so far on the season. Smith leads the team with 18, while Turner is second on the team with 16 and Bergman is third on the team with 10. Nine others have collected draw controls on the season for the Huskies. Between the pipes, DiPasquale has played all 372:51 for the Huskies in the cage, owning a 12.71 goals against average (GAA) and a .423 save percentage. She has also made 58 saves on the season, the fifth-highest total in the PSAC.
 
SCOUTING SETON HILL
Seton Hill averages 8.86 goals per game, while allowing 12.71 goals per game. Mackenzie Kilduff is the team's leading goal-scorer with 12, while Cressman and Pontious each have 10 on the season. 10 other Griffins have tallied goals so far on the season. Monroe and Ashley Ingram lead the Griffins in the assist column with seven apiece, while 12 others have helped on Griffin goals this season. Kilduff is the team's point leader on the season with 15 (12 G, three A), while Cressman is second on the team with 14 (10 G, four A). Monroe (five G, seven A) and Pontious (10 G, 2 A) each have 12 points on the season, while Ingram (three G, seven A) has 10. Nine other Griffins have recorded points on the season. The Griffins have collected 132 ground balls on the season, led by 21 from Jacobs. Three others have scooped up at least 10 on the season.
