STORYLINE
After two games out of conference, the Huskies return to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) to face their third nationally-ranked opponent within the league. Lock Haven enters the matchup ranked No. 23 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll. 
 
ALL-TIME SERIES
This will be the 47thall-time meeting between Bloomsburg and Lock Haven. LHU holds the all-time series lead 27-19.  
 
LAST MEETING
Lock Haven doubled up Bloomsburg 20-10 at Steph Pettit Stadium last season on Apr. 18, 2017. Bloomsburg scored the first two goals of the game coming from Brigid Kyne (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) (27:46) and Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) (24:33), before Lock Haven scored the next five goals in just over two minutes. Syndey Collins calmed the run with 19:36 to go in the first half, before Lock Haven would score 50 seconds later. As the clock ticked down inside the final 10 minutes of the first half, Bloomsburg would get another goal from Kyne (7:38) and Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) (5:19). Lock Haven would score the final goal of the first half with 3:41 left in the frame to take a 7-5 lead to the break. Turner scored the first goal of the second half less than five minutes in, before Lock Haven would score two goals in 19 seconds to move their lead to 9-6. Turner would score two goals 46 seconds apart to get BU back within one, before Lock Haven would score the next six goals over a seven-minute span. Bloomsburg's final two goals of the game came from Lindsey Coyle (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) (7:32) and Cailyn Gormley (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) (6:18), before Lock Haven scored the final five goals of the game over the final six minutes. 
 
Lock Haven out-shot Bloomsburg 28-27 in the game, including 24-21 in shots on goal. Turner's four goals led the offense, while Kyne scored twice and four others each tallied one goal. Kyne also dished out a team-high two assists, while Nikki Fisher (Warminster, Pa./Gwynedd Mercy Academy) and Kirsten Wozniak (Oradell, N.J./River Dell Regional) each helped on one goal. Kyne and Turner each finished with a team-high four points, while six others recorded one each. BU won the battle for ground balls 20-13, led by four from Kyne. Turner picked up three, while five other Huskies scooped up two apiece and three others collected one. Bloomsburg caused nine of Lock Haven's 18 turnovers, with Julia Stauffer (Reinholds, Pa./Cocalico) leading the team with three. Six other Huskies caused turnovers in the win. Bloomsburg won nine draw controls to Lock Haven's 22 in the game, with Kyne's four being a team-high. Five others grabbed one draw control apiece in the game. Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) took the loss in the cage for the Huskies, making four saves. 
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies upended Jefferson 18-8 back on Sunday (Apr. 8) in non-conference action. The two teams traded goals in the first two minutes, with Collins starting the scoring just 27 seconds in before Jefferson scored 1:48 into the game. Bloomsburg got the next two goals in 1:20 from Coyle and Abby Bergman (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley), before Jefferson would score again just under nine minutes in. BU would go on a run scoring four goals in just under six minutes, beginning with a goal from Coyle with 17:17 left in the first half. Wozniak scored just 1:10 later, followed by goals from Turner (12:54) and Bergman (11:48). Jefferson would score their third goal of the game with eight minutes to play, before BU would get goals from Gormley (6:04) and Jaskuta (2:36) to take an 8-3 lead. Jefferson would score the final goal of the first half with 52 seconds left to send the game to the break with Bloomsburg leading 8-4. The two teams would match their respective scoring totals from the first half in the second, with Bloomsburg scoring the first five goals of the frame. Gormley began the scoring just 1:05 in on a woman-up opportunity from Coyle, before scoring her second consecutive goal four minutes in from Bergman to put the Huskies up 11-4. Megan Smith (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Jefferson Township) found the back of the net for the eighth time this season just under five minutes into the half, before Wozniak scored a woman-up goal from Jaskuta just 55 seconds later. Bergman scored the final goal of the opening run from Wozniak seven and a half minutes in to put the Huskies up by 10. Jefferson would score the next three goals in less than four minutes. Tracy Rusen (Martinsville, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) would net her 24thof the season from Jaskuta with just under 16 minutes to play, before Jefferson's final goal of the game would come with 12 and a half minutes left. The final three goals for BU came from Coyle (woman-up, 10:51) assisted by Turner, Turner from Grace Kelleher (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) (9:04) and Bergman from Gormley with 7:50 left. 
 
Bloomsburg out-shot Jefferson 31-22 in the win, including 23-18 in shots on goal. Bergman led the offense with a game-high and single-game career-high four goals, while Coyle and Gormley each netted hat tricks in the game. Wozniak and Turner each found the back of the net twice, while four others each scored once. Jaskuta tallied a game-high four assists on the afternoon, while Wozniak helped on two goals and six others each registered one assist in the game. Bloomsburg held a slim 23-21 edge in ground balls, led by a team-high four from Smith. DiPasquale picked up three, while four others each scooped up two and another eight Huskies grabbed one each. Bloomsburg caused 16 of Jefferson's 19 turnovers, with Abby Nocito (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) leading the team with three. Three others caused two turnovers apiece in the win, while another seven Huskies each forced one turnover on the afternoon. Each team grabbed 14 draw controls, with BU led by three each from Bergman and Erin Boulger (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area). Three Huskies pulled down two draw controls each, while Allison Bardman (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) and Turner each collected one in the win. DiPasquale (8-3) earned the win between the pipes, making 10 saves. 
 
Lock Haven upset No. 19 Mercyhurst 16-7 at home back on Apr. 7 in their last action. The Bald Eagles began the scoring less than four minutes in on a goal from Loren Librizzi before Mercyhurst would score the next three goals in under two minutes. Lock Haven would return the favor with a four-goal run that lasted eight minutes. Ashley Gochenaur scored with 19:31 to play in the first half, before Karli Golber scored 1:14 later. Gochenaur scored again with 14:21 to play in the half, before Katie Costanza scored with 11:21 remaining to put Lock Haven up 5-3. Mercyhurst would score again with 9:35 to play in the first half, beore Lock Haven would score the next two off the stick of Alex O'Herrick at 8:11 and 4:10. Mercyhurst would score the final goal of the first half with 1:30 remaining in the period, and Lock Haven led 7-5 after 30 minutes. The Bald Eagles would out-score the Lakers 9-2 in the second half, starting the period with a five-goal run that lasted 13 minutes. It began with the first goal of the half from O'Herrick less than four minutes in, before Gochenaur scored just 1:13 later. O'Herrick scored again with 19 and a half minutes to play, before Gochenaur scored with 14 and a half minutes to play. The final goal of the run came off the stick of O'Herrick with 13:54 to play giving Lock Haven a 12-5 lead. Mercyhurst scored just 30 seconds after O'Herrick's goal, and that would be their last marker until the final goal of the game with 2:27 left. Between Mercyhurst's goals, Lock Haven scored four more times in an eight-minute span. A woman-up goal from Costanza (12:39) was followed up by another goal from Gochenaur just 15 seconds later. Lock Haven's final two goals were scored by Hayley Kilian (6:21) and Costanza (4:06). 
 
Lock Haven out-shot Mercyhurst 38-24 in the win including 28-17 in shots on goal. Gochenaur and O'Herrick each netted a game-high five goals, while Costanza scored a hat trick in the win while three others each scored once. Kilian dished out a game-high four assists, while Dana Laulis helped on three goals and Librizzi tallied one assist. Lock Haven edged Mercyhurst in ground balls 19-17, led by four from Gilbert. Three Bald Eagles each picked up three in the win, while Braxtin Reddinger recorded two and another four each registered one. LHU caused 10 of Mercyhurst's 22 turnovers, with O'Herrick's three being a game-high. Gochenaur caused two turnovers in the win, while five others each caused one. Lock Haven won 13 draw controls to Mercyhurst's 12, led by five from O'Herrick. Gochenaur pulled down four, Reddinger grabbed three and Gilbert snatched one in the win. Lauren Girardi got the win in between the pipes, making 10 saves. 
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies are fifth in the PSAC in scoring with an average of 13.92 goals per game, while giving up 11.30 goals per game. Gormley and Rusen are tied for the team lead and also tied for 10thin the conference in goals with 24, while Jaskuta is second on the team with 22. Four others have scored at least 10 goals on the season, while another six Huskies have scored at least one goal on the season. Grace Kelleher (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) is the team's assist leader with 20 while also being seventh in the PSAC. Collins and Wozniak are tied for second on the team with 10 helpers each, while 10 others have helped on at least one goal on the season. Kelleher is also the team's point leader with 38 on 18 goals and 20 assists, being tied for ninth in the conference. Nine other Huskies have recorded double-digit points on the season, while another four have registered at least one point on the season. The Huskies lead the conference with 327 ground balls on the season, with DiPasquale's 48 leading the team and ranking fourth in the league. Nocito's 29 are second on the team and also ninth in the conference, while 13 others have picked up at least 10 ground balls on the year. BU also leads the league in caused turnovers with 180, with Tiffany Diachynsky (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area)'s 27 leading the team and ranking fourth in the PSAC. Turner's 21 are second on the team and eighth in the league, while Schappert has caused 20 along with four others who have forced at least 10 turnovers on the season. Bloomsburg is seventh in the league in draw controls with 146, with Bergman's 28 being a team-best and Turner being right behind her with 27. Four other Huskies have snatched at least 10 draw controls on the season, while eight others have collected at least one on the season. DiPasquale has played all 672:51 between the pipes for BU, owning an 11.50 goals against average (GAA) and a .451 save percentage. Her 106 saves are the fifth-highest total in the conference. 
 
SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN
The Bald Eagles are the third-best scoring team in the conference notching 15.82 goals per game, while allowing only 10.91 goals per game which is the eighth-best average in the conference. Costanza leads the team in goals and is tied for third individually in the PSAC with 37. Six other Bald Eagles have scored at least 10 goals on the season, while another nine have scored at least once on the year. Kilian's 54 assists on the season lead the team and the conference, while Laulis's 23 helpers are second on the team and also fifth in the league. Eight other Bald Eagles have helped on goals this season. Kilian's 66 points (12 G, 54 A) lead the team and are also second in the conference, while Costanza's 38 points (37 G, one A) are second on the team. Seven other Bald Eagles have registered at least 10 points on the season, while another eight have recorded at least one point on the year. Lock Haven is 10thin the conference in ground balls with 197, led by 23 each from O'Herrick and Reddinger. Eight other Bald Eagles have picked up at least 10 ground balls on the season. Lock Haven has caused 98 turnovers on the season, the ninth-highest total in the conference. Girardi (120:49) and Jordan Vereb (18:42) have also seen action between the pipes for Lock Haven on the season.
