STORYLINE
The Huskies will play their fourth game of the season against a nationally-ranked team in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) when they travel to undefeated No. 9 West Chester on Tuesday (Apr. 17).

This will be the 47
thmeeting between Bloomsburg and West Chester, with West Chester holding a 39-7 all-time series lead.
LAST MEETING
The Golden Rams won the last meeting between the two teams back on Apr. 4, 2017 by a score of 18-11.
Brigid Kyne (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) scored the first goal less than two minutes in, before West Chester would score the next four goals before the six-minute mark.
Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) would break up the run with a goal just over nine minutes in, before the Golden Rams would score the next three to go up 7-2 with under 19 minutes to play in the first half. Turner would again break up the run with a goal (17:46), before West Chester scored again to go up 8-3 with 17 minutes to play in the first. Bloomsburg would get two goals back in a 31-second span coming off the stick of Kyne (14:56) and
Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) (14:21) to get within 8-5, before West Chester would score the next two to get their lead back up to 10-5 with 11 minutes to play in the first half.
Tracy Rusen (Martinsville, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) scored with four and a half minutes left in the half, before West Chester scored the next two goals to move their lead to 12-6 with two and a half minutes left in the half. Each team scored once in the final two minutes of the first half, with BU's goal coming from
Kirsten Wozniak (Oradell, N.J./River Dell Regional) with 1:16 remaining. West Chester scored the final goal of the period with 19 seconds left to take a 13-7 lead to the half. Bloomsburg scored the first two goals of the second half to get within four, with the markers coming from
Erin Boulger (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area) (26:24) and Turner (23:09) to make it 13-9. West Chester would score the next three goals to stretch their lead to 16-9 with seven minutes to play. Jaskuta scored again with just over three minutes to play in the game, before West Chester scored twice in 46 seconds. The final goal of the game came with 26 seconds off the stick of
Cailyn Gormley (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) on a woman-up opportunity.
Bloomsburg registered 21 shots in the contest, including 17 on goal. Turner tallied a hat trick in the loss, while Kyne and Jaskuta each scored twice and four others found the back of the net once.
Grace Kelleher (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) tallied one assist in the game. Bloomsburg won the battle for ground balls 16-7, led by a game-high four from
Abby Nocito (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape).
Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) picked up three, while three other Huskies collected two apiece and another three each scooped up one. Bloomsburg caused 11 of West Chester's 18 turnovers, with two each coming from Nocito and DiPasquale and seven other Huskies forcing one turnover each. Bloomsburg won 10 draw controls in the game, with four from Jaskuta being a team-high. Nocito also won two, while four others recorded one each. DiPasquale took the loss in the cage, making nine saves.

Bloomsburg dropped their last conference contest at Slippery Rock 18-10 on Saturday (Apr. 14). The Rock came out firing in the first half scoring the first three goals and taking a 3-0 lead less than three minutes in, before

The Rock would score the next two goals just 1:03 apart to put them up 6-3, before Rusen would complete the hat trick scoring the next two goals for BU. Her second and third markers of the game came unassisted (8:38) and assisted by Jaskuta (6:15) to make it a 6-5 game going down into the final five minutes of the first half. Slippery Rock's final goal of the first half would come with three minutes left, but the Huskies would score twice in the final 2:45 to send the game to the half tied at seven. Bergman would score her 12
thof the season from Rusen with 2:43 to play in the half; before Rusen would strike assisted by Turner with just 34 seconds left for the final goal of the first half. Slippery Rock would score the first two goals of the second half, with the markers coming just 26 seconds apart. Bloomsburg would score the next two goals to tie the game at nine just under six minutes to play in the half, but that would be the final Huskies goal until the final minutes of the game. Kelleher scored her 24th of the season unassisted less than four minutes in, before Rusen scored unassisted at 24:19 to tie the game at nine. The Rock would go on a scoring run over an 18-minute span scoring the next nine goals to take an 18-9 lead. The first three goals of the run came in 1:02. With 3:11 to play in the game, Bergman netted her second of the game assisted by Turner for the final goal of the game for either team.
Bloomsburg registered 26 shots in the contest, including 24 on goal. Rusen led all scorers with five goals, while Bergman scored twice and Coyle, Gormley and Kelleher each scored once. Turner tallied two assists in the game, while four others helped on one BU goal on the afternoon. Slippery Rock edged Bloomsburg in ground balls 33-31, with BU led by seven from DiPasquale. Nocito collected four, while
Tiffany Diachynsky (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) and
Delaney Schappert (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport South Manor) each picked up three. Five other Huskies scooped up two ground balls apiece in the loss, while another four each grabbed one. Bloomsburg caused 18 of Slippery Rock's 26 turnovers, led by four from Diachynsky. Three Huskies each caused three turnovers apiece, while another five each forced one. Bloomsburg won 11 draw controls on the afternoon, with
Anna Dempsey (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) and Bergman each winning a team-high four. Gormley,
Megan Smith (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Jefferson Township) and
Danielle Ward (Albrightsville, Pa./Vernon Township) each recorded one in the game. DiPasquale (9-4) took the loss between the pipes, making 14 saves.
West Chester remained unbeaten on Saturday (Apr. 14) with a 17-1 win at Edinboro in PSAC play. West Chester scored the first five goals of the game in a nine-minute span, beginning with a Drew McKinney goal less than seven minutes in. Tatum Altman scored the second goal for West Chester with 18 minutes to play in the first half, before she scored again 30 seconds later to put the Golden Rams up 3-0. Alexis Einsig scored the fourth goal for West Chester with 15 and a half minutes to play in the first half, before Altman completed the hat trick with 12 and a half minutes to play in the period. Edinboro would score their only goal of the game with just over nine minutes to play in the first half, before West Chester ended the half scoring four more goals and taking a 9-1 lead to the break. West Chester scored eight times in the second half and held Edinboro scoreless en route to the lopsided win.
West Chester out-shot Edinboro 41-6 in the win, including 29-4 in shots on goal. Maggie Stella led the offense with a game-high four goals, while Altman scored a hat trick and McKinney and Tara Morrissey each scored twice. Six other Golden Rams each found the back of the net once in the win. Altman also tallied two assists in the win, along with four other Golden Rams assisting on goals in the contest. West Chester out-worked Edinboro for ground balls 23-11, led by a game-high four from Molly Reinhart. McKinney and Brenna Lynch each picked up three in the win, while five other Golden Rams scooped up two each and another three each registered one. West Chester caused 14 of Edinboro's 27 turnovers, with four different players causing two each and another six each forcing one turnover. West Chester won 12 draw controls to Edinboro's eight, with Stella's four being a game-high. McKinney collected three, while Sami Barnett picked up two and three others recorded one each. Julianne Clemens got the win in the cage making one save, while Nicole Martins played the second half between the pipes and stopped two shots.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies are the fifth-best scoring team in the PSAC with an average of 13.77 goals per game while allowing 11.96 goals per game. Rusen's 31 goals lead the team and are ninth in the conference while Gormley (26), Kelleher (24) and Jaskuta (24) are the only other Huskies to score at least 20 goals on the season. Four other Huskies have scored at least 10 goals on the season, while another five have scored at least once on the year. Kelleher's 21 assists lead the team and are seventh in the PSAC, while three other Huskies have at least 10 assists on the season. Nine others have assisted on at least one Bloomsburg goal this year. Kelleher's 45 points (24 G, 21 A) lead the team and are 10
thin the conference, while 10 other Huskies have recorded double-digit points on the season. Three others have registered at least one point on the season for BU. Bloomsburg leads the conference in ground balls with 389, led individually by DiPasquale's 60 which are second in the conference. 15 other Huskies have collected double-digit ground balls on the season. BU also leads the PSAC in caused turnovers with 215, and is currently the only team in the league with at least 200 caused turnovers. Diachynsky's 32 lead the team and are third in the league, while 10 other Huskies have caused at least 10 turnovers on the season. The Huskies are fifth in the conference in draw controls with 173, with Bergman's 33 leading the team. Five other Huskies have collected at least 10 draw controls on the season. DiPasquale has played all 792:51 between the pipes, owning an 11.96 goals against average (GAA) and a .449 save percentage. The sophomore has made 129 saves which is the fourth-highest total in the conference.
SCOUTING WEST CHESTER
West Chester is the second-best scoring team in the league with an average of 15.85 goals per game, while allowing the fewest goals per game in the PSAC at a mark of 5.76. Barnett leads the team and is fifth in the conference with 39 goals, Altman is second on the team and ninth in the league with 35 goals. Six others have scored at least 10 goals on the season, while another eight Golden Rams have scored at least one goal on the season. Altman's 16 assists lead the team, while Barnett's 15 are second and Morrissey has 11 and Trisha Baud has totaled 10. 10 others have assisted on West Chester goals so far this season. Barnett's 54 points (39 G, 15 A) lead the team and are sixth in the PSAC, while Altman's 51 points (35 G, 16 A) are second on the team and ninth in the conference. Seven other Golden Rams have recorded double-digit points on the season, while another eight have notched at least one point on the year. West Chester is fourth in the league in ground balls with 341, led by 29 each from McKinney and Reinhart. Six other Golden Rams have collected at least 20 ground balls each on the season, while another seven have registered at least 10. West Chester is also fourth in the league in caused turnovers with 163, led by 20 from Reinhart which is the 10
