STORYLINE
The Huskies will take on their second consecutive nationally-ranked team within the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) when they host No. 21 Indiana (Pa.) (IUP) on Saturday (Apr. 21) for Senior Day. Prior to the game, seniors Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) and Tracy Rusen (Martinsville, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) will be honored. 
 
SENIOR DAY
Turner has played in 61 career games for the Maroon and Gold, making 58 starts. She has totaled 82 goals and 31 assists for 113 career points, while also collecting 128 ground balls, causing 68 turnovers and winning 73 draw controls. The Corning, N.Y. native is the daughter of Karl and Michele Turner, and is an exercise science major. 
 
Rusen has played in 43 games in her BU career, including making 25 starts. To date she has scored 52 career goals and dished out 18 assists for 70 career points, while also picking up 35 career ground balls, causing 14 turnovers and winning two draw controls. The Martinsville, N.J. native is the daughter of Mike and Barb Rusen, and is a marketing major. 
 
ALL-TIME SERIES
This will be the 25thall-time meeting between Bloomsburg and IUP, with BU leading the all-time series 17-7. 
 
LAST MEETING
The Crimson Hawks came away with a 9-8 win in last year's meeting back on Apr. 8, 2017. Cailyn Gormley (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) began the scoring two and a half minutes in, before IUP would score six goals in a row over the remainder of the first half to take a 6-1 lead to the break. The Huskies scored the first four goals of the second half, beginning with a goal from Taylor Turner (Corning, N.Y./Corning West) two and a half minutes into the half. Brigid Kyne (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) scored her first o the game just under five minutes into the second half, before Danielle Ward (Albrightsville, Pa./Vernon Township) scored unassisted three minutes later. Erin Boulger (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area) finished out the scoring with an unassisted goal with 17 and a half minutes to play in the half to get the Huskies within 6-5. As the clock ticked down toward the final 10 minutes, IUP scored two goals in less than two minutes to stretch their lead back up to three goals. Kyne scored unassisted with seven minutes to play, before the game would go down into the final two minutes. IUP scored with just under two minutes to go for a 9-6 lead, before Bloomsburg would score the final two goals in the remaining 1:05. Kyne scored with 1:04 to play, before Turner would tally the final goal of the game with 29 seconds left. 
 
Bloomsburg out-shot IUP 23-15 in the game, including a 20-12 edge in shots on goal. Kyne's hat trick led the Huskies scoring effort, while Turner scored twice and three others found the back of the net once. Kyne also tallied the only two assists for the Huskies in the game. IUP edged Bloomsburg 25-23 in ground balls, with Angela DiPasquale (Paramus, N.J./Paramus)'s eight being a game-high. Three different Huskies grabbed three ground balls each, while Abby Nocito (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) picked up two and another four players each registered one. BU caused 12 of IUP's 32 turnovers, led by three each from DiPasquale and Kyne. Boulger caused two in the loss, while another four Huskies each forced one turnover in the loss.  Bloomsburg won four draw controls in the game, with Kyne collecting two and Kate Shea (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) and Lindsey Coyle (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) each grabbing one. DiPasquale took the loss between the pipes making three saves. 
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies lost their second straight conference game on Tuesday (Apr. 17) , falling at No. 9 West Chester 21-6. West Chester scored the first eight goals of the game over the first 9:55 to take an 8-0 lead in the first 10 minutes. Grace Kelleher (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) scored her 25thgoal of the season from Cailyn Gormley (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) with 17 minutes left to get the Huskies on the board, before West Chester would score the next six goals over an 11-minute span. Rusen scored her 32nd of the year from Turner with four minutes to play in the half, before West Chester's final goal of the half came with 1:11 left in the period. The Golden Rams led 15-2 at the half. The Golden Rams out-scored Bloomsburg just 6-4 in the second half, with West Chester scoring the first two goals of the frame. Gormley would net her 27th of the season unassisted with 17:45 to play in the half, before West Chester would score the next four goals over a nine-minute span. BU would score the final three goals of the game in the final three minutes and change, starting with Gormley's second of the game assisted by Turner with 3:03 left. Kirsten Wozniak (Oradell, N.J./River Dell Regional) would score her sixth of the season unassisted with 1:40 left, before Rusen would score from Allison Bardman (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) with 20 seconds left to round out the scoring.
 
Bloomsburg recorded 12 total shots in the game, including seven on goal. Gormley and Rusen each scored twice for BU, while Kelleher and Wozniak also netted one goal each. Turner tallied two assists in the game, along with one each from Gormley and Bardman. Bloomsburg picked up 19 ground balls as a team in the loss, with three Huskies grabbing three apiece. Nocito picked up two, while eight others recorded one each. Bloomsburg caused nine of West Chester's 16 turnovers, with Turner and Nocito each causing two and five others each forcing one turnover. The Huskies won nine draw controls in the game, led by three each from Turner and Anna Dempsey (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts). Erin Boulger (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area) also registered two in the game and Gormley collected one. DiPasquale (9-5) took the loss in between the pipes, making eight saves in the game. 
 
No. 21 IUP fell to No. 23 Lock Haven back on Tuesday (Apr. 17) 14-13 in conference action. Lock Haven scored the first goal of the game just 15 seconds in, before IUP took a 2-1 lead with two goals just 22 seconds apart. Ally Burrows scored from Kelly Shields (28:13) before Adriana Greco (27:51) scored from Shields for the second goal. Lock Haven responded with two goals in 1:13 to take a 3-2 lead, before Burrows scored unassisted just over five minutes in to tie the game at three. The Bald Eagles would go on a five-goal run over a 10-inute span. Trailing 8-3, Greco would score from Bri Chavis with 11 and a half minutes to play in the first half to get the Crimson Hawks within 8-4. After a Lock Haven goal 42 seconds later, IUP would go on their own run with four goals over five minutes to get within one before the end of the first half. Victoria Kerkovich scored unassisted with just over seven minutes left in the half, before Greco scored unassisted with 3:50 remaining. Chavis scored from Shields with 2:47 left in the half, before Greco scored again from shields just 25 seconds later. Lock Haven would score the final goal of the first with just over a minute to play to take a 10-8 lead to the half. The Crimson Hawks would come out firing in the second half, scoring the first four goals over the first eight minutes of the period. Kathryn Zeiler scored unassisted 2:01 into the half, before back-to-back unassisted goals from Shields separated by 55 seconds put IUP up 11-10. Shields scored her third consecutive goal assisted by Greco less than eight minutes into the second half to put IUP up by two. Lock Haven would score the next three goals, taking a 13-12 lead with nine minutes to play in regulation. IUP tied the game with six and a half minutes left on another goal from Burrows, before Lock Haven scored the winner with 3:41 left in the game. 
 
IUP held a slim edge over Lock Haven in shots 26-25, but Lock Haven won the battle in shots on goal 22-20. Greco's four goals led the Crimson Hawks and were a game-high, while Burrows and Shields each tallied hat tricks and three other Crimson Hawks each scored once. Shields recorded a team-high four assists in the loss, while Greco and Chavis each helped on one IUP goal in the contest. Lock Haven bested IUP in ground balls 21-18, with Shields and Lauren Piecknick each collecting four for the Crimson Hawks. Burrows and Mollie Gallagher each picked up two, and another six players each scooped up one. IUP caused eight of Lock Haven's 20 turnovers in the game, with Gallagher and Natalie Morano each causing two. Four other Crimson Hawks each forced one turnover in the game. IUP won 14 draw controls to Lock Haven's 15 in the game, led by a game-high eight from Chavis. Katie Martyn also collected four, while Shields and Greco each grabbed one. Piecknick took the loss in the cage, making eight saves. 
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Bloomsburg is the sixth-best scoring team in the PSAC averaging 13.21 goals per game, while giving up 12.59 goals per game. Rusen's 33 goals lead the team and are also ninth in the conference while Gormley (28), Kelleher (25) and Jaskuta (24) are the only other Huskies with at least 20 goals on the season. Four others have scored at least 10 goals on the season. Kelleher is the team's assist leader with 21 and is also tied for ninth in the league, while four other Huskies have dished out at least 10 assists on the season. Kelleher's 46 points (25 G, 21 A) also lead the team and are the 10th-highest total in the league, while 10 other Huskies have recorded at least 10 points on the season. BU leads the conference in ground balls with 408, and is only one of two teams with at least 400 ground balls on the season. DiPasquale has collected a team-high 60 which is also third in the conference, while 16 others Huskies have scooped up at least 10 ground balls on the season. Bloomsburg also leads the conference in caused turnovers with 224, and is also one of only two teams with at least 200 caused turnovers on the season. Tiffany Diachynsky (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area)'s 33 lead the team and are tied for third in the conference, while 10 other Huskies have forced at least 10 turnovers on the season. Bloomsburg is fifth in the conference in draw controls with 182, led by 33 from Abby Bergman (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley). Five other Huskies have collected at least 10 draw controls on the season. DiPasquale has played all 852:51 in the cage for BU, totaling a 12.59 goals against average (GAA) and a .434 save percentage. Her 137 total saves are the fifth-highest total in the PSAC. 
 
SCOUTING IUP
IUP is the highest-scoring team in the conference averaging 17.25 goals per game, while being fourth in the conference in goals allowed (9.67) and being just one of five teams in the PSAC to average less than 10 goals given up per game. Burrows and Greco are the two leading scorers for the Crimson Hawks, with Burrows's 55 goals being second in the conference and Greco's 49 being third. Four other Crimson Hawks have scored at least 10 goals on the season, while another nine have scored at least once on the year. Shields leads the team and is fifth in the league in assists with 30, while four others have helped on at least 10 goals on the season. Burrows leads the team and is third in the conference with 71 points (55 G, 16 A) while Greco's 58 points (49 G,  nine A) are tied for sixth in the league. Shields is also ninth in the conference in points with 49 on 19 goals and a team-high 30 assists, while five other Crimson Hawks have recorded at least 10 points on the season. IUP has totaled 256 ground balls on the year, led by a team-high 34 from Piecknick. 10 other Crimson Hawks have picked up at least 10 ground balls on the season. IUP has caused 122 turnovers on the season, led by 23 from Gallagher which is 10thin the conference individually. 22 others have forced turnovers on the season for IUP. IUP is the second-best team in the league on draw controls with 217 and one of just three teams with at least 200 on the season. Martyn's 86 lead the team and are second in the conference, while Chavis's 48 are second on the team and 10thin the league individually. 13 other Crimson Hawks have registered at least one draw control on the season. Piecknick has played all 720:00 between the pipes for IUP, owning the third-lowest GAA in the conference at 9.67. Her .480 save percentage is seventh in the conference, along with her 107 saves being tied for ninth in the PSAC.

The Huskies are back at home on Wednesday (Apr. 25) to take on No. 18 East Stroudsburg in PSAC play. Opening draw is set for 4:00 p.m. at Bloomsburg's Steph Pettit Stadium.
